Printing businesses · Content marketing

Write down what you explain to every customer about paper and files.

Content marketing for a print shop turns the explanations your team repeats daily, about GSM, finishes and artwork files, into pages buyers find and read. GullySales writes those pages with your press team, so the enquiries arrive better prepared and the wrong files stop coming in.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the free audit onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For printing businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The artwork explanation is worth a page on its own

Bleed, resolution, colour mode and outlined fonts are explained on the phone every week, and a page saying it once saves an hour a day.

  • Buyers search the choice, not the shop

Questions like which GSM for a visiting card, or offset or digital for 500 copies, are typed by the person about to place an order.

  • A written specification prevents the argument later

Publishing what each finish does and what it costs in time means a buyer chooses knowingly, and a proof dispute becomes far less likely.

What we do

What we deliver for printing businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An artwork requirements page

Bleed, resolution, colour mode, fonts and accepted file formats set out plainly, with a downloadable template for your common sizes.

Result: Files arrive ready and jobs start on time.

  2. Choice guides for paper and finish

Short guides on GSM, board types, lamination, foiling and spot UV, written for a buyer rather than a printer.

Result: A buyer picks a specification before calling.

  3. Offset against digital explained by quantity

A plain page on which process suits which quantity, and why the price behaves the way it does.

Result: Fewer buyers argue that your rate should match an online price.

  4. Job-type checklists

A checklist for each job type covering what you need from the buyer, from a wedding invitation to a monocarton.

Result: Nothing is missing when the job is booked.

  5. A record of which pages brought enquiries

Search visits and enquiries traced to each guide every month, against the figures noted before publishing.

Result: Writing time goes to the guides buyers actually use.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for printing businesses

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your local search visibility, how fast a quote reaches a customer, how your samples are presented, and whether reorders from regular customers are tracked.

  2. 2

Build a sample portfolio and reply routine

Photographs of real completed jobs organised by type, and a same-day quote turnaround for common enquiries.

  3. 3

    Speed up quoting

Templates and pricing references for common job types so a quote does not depend on locating an old sample or file.

  4. 4

    Bring customers in

Local search, referrals, and direct outreach to offices, event planners and businesses that print regularly.

  5. 5

    Keep repeat accounts

Reorder reminders and a dedicated point of contact for regular business customers, so they never need to go looking elsewhere.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will explaining this lose us work to online printers?
No. A buyer who understands GSM and lamination is exactly the one who stops comparing you with a cheap online rate. The buyer who only wants the lowest price was never going to stay.
Who writes it, and how long does it take?
We write it from sessions with your press supervisor and the person who handles files. Expect a couple of hours of their time for the first set. The words must be theirs, or the page will not be accurate.
Do we need to advertise?
Not for urgent jobs, which are won on a fast quote and visible samples. Ads help for a specific push, such as wedding invitations from October or a new packaging line.
Should we check the label text a food brand sends us?
Yes, before the plates are made. Point out a missing FSSAI licence number, net quantity or MRP, even though the brand is responsible for them. A reprint costs both of you, and the brand remembers the printer who caught it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
