Printing businesses · Social media

Show the foiling, the die cut and the box being folded.

Social media for a printing business is where designers, brand owners and event planners see what your press can actually do. GullySales sets up a filming routine on the shop floor, shows finished work with the client's permission, and turns the messages that follow into quotes.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For printing businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The machine running is the content

A ten-second clip of foil hitting board or a die cutter working holds attention that a photograph of a finished card never will.

  • Your audience is the designer, not the end customer

A studio that specifies print for its clients decides where the job goes, and it is on Instagram looking at finishes.

  • Client work cannot be posted without asking

A packaging job for an unlaunched product is confidential, so consent has to be taken before it appears anywhere.

What we do

What we deliver for printing businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A shop floor filming routine

A short weekly list of what to film, from foiling and lamination to a box being assembled, that an operator can shoot on a phone.

Result: The content is the work already on the floor.

  2. Finished work posted with permission

A written consent step before a client's job appears, with confidential and pre-launch work kept out.

Result: You can show your best work without a call from a client.

  3. Posts aimed at designers and planners

Captions naming the stock, finish, quantity and turnaround, in the words a designer uses when specifying a job.

Result: The people who choose the press understand what they are seeing.

  4. Messages answered with a quote

Instagram and Facebook messages routed to the same inbox as WhatsApp, with the standard specification questions saved.

Result: A message from a designer becomes a priced job.

  5. A quarterly check on what the platform brought

Enquiries and orders traced to social media, listed by job type, against the position recorded before this started.

Result: You can tell whether the filming is worth the time.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for printing businesses

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your local search visibility, how fast a quote reaches a customer, how your samples are presented, and whether reorders from regular customers are tracked.

  2. 2

Build a sample portfolio and reply routine

Photographs of real completed jobs organised by type, and a same-day quote turnaround for common enquiries.

  3. 3

    Speed up quoting

Templates and pricing references for common job types so a quote does not depend on locating an old sample or file.

  4. 4

    Bring customers in

Local search, referrals, and direct outreach to offices, event planners and businesses that print regularly.

  5. 5

    Keep repeat accounts

Reorder reminders and a dedicated point of contact for regular business customers, so they never need to go looking elsewhere.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do print buyers really use Instagram?
Designers and brand owners do, and they decide most packaging and brochure jobs. A factory purchase officer does not, which is why directories and search still carry the bulk work.
Can we post a client's packaging?
Only with their agreement, and never before their product launches. Ask when the job is delivered and keep the reply. Most brands say yes, and some ask you to wait a few weeks.
Do we need to advertise?
Not for urgent jobs, which are won on a fast quote and visible samples. Ads help for a specific push, such as wedding invitations from October or a new packaging line.
Should we check the label text a food brand sends us?
Yes, before the plates are made. Point out a missing FSSAI licence number, net quantity or MRP, even though the brand is responsible for them. A reprint costs both of you, and the brand remembers the printer who caught it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
