Printing businesses · Lead generation

Answer the file on WhatsApp before the buyer sends it to another press.

Lead generation for a print shop is about the enquiry arriving with a design file, a quantity and a deadline, from WhatsApp, a directory or the counter. GullySales fixes the questions asked back, the quote that follows the same day, and the record of which source is actually paying.

A sorting hopper in a depot yard: a wide gold hopper on a steel frame, its throat splitting into three chutes that feed three floor bins, one heaped past its own spout, one half caught, one barely started

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For printing businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Half the specification is missing from every enquiry

A message saying how much for 1000 leaves out paper, size, colours, finish and the date, and five messages later the buyer has ordered elsewhere.

  • The IndiaMART inbox is a lead source only if someone opens it

Bulk buyers post requirements there and take the first reply, so an unchecked inbox is a subscription you are paying for and not using.

  • A repeat account is a different kind of lead

An office reordering letterheads every quarter should never have to enquire again, and treating that reorder as a fresh lead is how it goes to another printer.

What we do

What we deliver for printing businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A fixed set of questions for every enquiry

Quantity, size, paper, colours, finish and the required date asked in one message, saved as a WhatsApp quick reply.

Result: You can price the job on the first reply.

  2. Same-day quotes from stored rates

Rate references for your common job types, so a quote leaves within shop hours without hunting for an old file.

Result: The buyer has your price before a competitor visits.

  3. Directory enquiries on a routine

A named person checking the IndiaMART and JustDial inboxes twice a day, with a reply template for bulk requirements and a note of what was quoted.

Result: A bulk enquiry is answered the day it arrives.

  4. Proof approval kept with the job

Every proof sent on WhatsApp with a written approval asked for, and the thread saved against the job number.

Result: A later dispute is settled by the approval, not an argument.

  5. An enquiry log by source and job type

Counter walk-ins, WhatsApp, directories and referrals logged separately, with the quote value and the outcome for each.

Result: You can see which source brings orders worth printing.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for printing businesses

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your local search visibility, how fast a quote reaches a customer, how your samples are presented, and whether reorders from regular customers are tracked.

  2. 2

Build a sample portfolio and reply routine

Photographs of real completed jobs organised by type, and a same-day quote turnaround for common enquiries.

  3. 3

    Speed up quoting

Templates and pricing references for common job types so a quote does not depend on locating an old sample or file.

  4. 4

    Bring customers in

Local search, referrals, and direct outreach to offices, event planners and businesses that print regularly.

  5. 5

    Keep repeat accounts

Reorder reminders and a dedicated point of contact for regular business customers, so they never need to go looking elsewhere.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Most enquiries ask only for a price. How do we handle that?
Send a range with the two or three specifications that change it, then ask for the date. A buyer with a real deadline answers, and one shopping for the cheapest rate stops replying. That tells you which to chase.
Should we quote before seeing the artwork?
Quote a range, not a final price. Ask for the file before confirming, because a design with a special finish or an odd size changes the number. Say so in the quote and the buyer will not feel misled later.
Do we need to advertise?
Not for urgent jobs, which are won on a fast quote and visible samples. Ads help for a specific push, such as wedding invitations from October or a new packaging line.
Should we check the label text a food brand sends us?
Yes, before the plates are made. Point out a missing FSSAI licence number, net quantity or MRP, even though the brand is responsible for them. A reprint costs both of you, and the brand remembers the printer who caught it.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
