Business compliance consultants · Local SEO

Be the compliance office an owner finds near their industrial estate.

Local SEO for a compliance consultant is how your office appears when a nearby owner searches a licence name with a city, and in the Maps listing beside it. GullySales works on the listing, the area pages and the way your office is described.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For business compliance consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The nearby search is a visit-the-office search”

An owner who has received a notice wants to hand papers to a person in the same town. A listing with a clear address, a landmark and a plain statement of who walks in matters more than a long brochure.

  • “Industrial estates are the real map”

Your clients cluster in a few estates and commercial streets. Pages named for those places, and a service area set to match, send a foundry owner in one estate to you ahead of a firm from across the city.

  • “The listing describes the work in the wrong words”

A Maps entry that says business consultant is lumped with every adviser in the city. Naming the licences and the trades you handle puts the listing in front of the right searches. Keep a note of which ones came from a referral.

  • “Reviews are a professional matter here”

A client's licence trouble is private, and asking for a public review needs care. Advertising rules differ by profession and state, so check with your own council or adviser before a page goes live. Collect feedback in a way your partners are comfortable with and never ask for details.

What we do

What we deliver for business compliance consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile completed

Categories, services, service area, address and opening hours set out in the words owners use for licences and trades.

Result: The listing reads as a compliance office for named trades.

  2. Area pages for estates and cities

A page for each estate or city you serve, naming real streets and offices you deal with, to be confirmed by you.

Result: A nearby owner sees their own area on the page.

  3. Photographs of the office and entrance

Pictures of the entrance, the signboard and the meeting room so a worried visitor knows they have the right door.

Result: A first-time visitor finds the office without a call.

  4. Consistent name and address

Your name, address and phone written the same way on the listing, website and directories.

Result: A search shows one office, not three versions.

  5. A review request that respects privacy

A short, optional message that asks about the experience of working with you, with no mention of the client's licence matter.

Result: Feedback arrives without exposing a client's file.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we list every city we have clients in?
Only the places where you have an office or a regular visit. A listing that claims an area you do not serve disappoints the caller and may break the platform's current rules, which you should check.
Can we reply to a review that mentions a client's problem?
Reply in general terms and never confirm the matter, and invite the person to call. Your partners should set the tone for every reply. Your partners should approve the wording before it is used.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
