Business compliance consultants · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the licence an owner is looking up, not for the word compliance.

SEO for a compliance consultant is writing pages that match the exact licence, return or inspection an owner types into Google. GullySales works on those pages, their titles and the state and city words that separate your reader from the rest of India.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For business compliance consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Owners search by licence name, not by service”

The words typed are a factory licence renewal, a trade licence for a shop or a labour welfare fund return, with a state or city beside them. A page titled compliance services is matched by none of them.

  • “State rules split the searches”

What a shop owner in Karnataka needs differs from what one in Maharashtra needs. A single generic page serves neither, while a page tied to one state office and one trade answers a search that is clear about what it wants.

  • “Government sites and portals sit above you”

The official portal ranks for the form name. Your page earns a place by answering what the portal does not: who must register, what papers to gather and what trips owners up, written in plain words.

  • “Rules change, and an old page misleads”

A page that quotes a threshold or a form that has since changed does harm. Each page needs a review mark and a line telling the reader to confirm the current position with you. Decide who in the practice reads each one.

What we do

What we deliver for business compliance consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Licence and trade keyword map

The licences, returns and inspections your clients ask about, matched to the states and cities you cover.

Result: You can see which searches you have no page for.

  2. Titles and headings rewritten

Page titles and headings that carry the licence, the trade and the state in the words a searcher uses.

Result: A results page shows what each page covers.

  3. Pages for the questions owners ask

Plain answers on who must register, what papers are needed and what an inspector looks at, each ending in a way to reach you.

Result: Each page answers one search and does not wander.

  4. A review mark on every page

A visible note of when your partners last read the page and a prompt to confirm the current rule.

Result: A reader can tell the page is looked after.

  5. Internal links between related licences

Links from a shop registration page to related labour and local licence pages, in the order an owner meets them.

Result: A reader moves to the next licence without searching again.

  6. Search Console set up and read

The site's search data connected so the queries that bring readers are listed against pages.

Result: You see which page answers which search.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will a page on a licence make us rank above the government portal?
Not above the official site for the form name, and no page can be promised a position. The aim is the searcher who wants to know what applies to their unit, which the portal does not explain.
Do we need a page for every state?
Only the states where you know the offices and the practice. A page for a state you have never worked in misleads the reader and weakens the site. Advertising rules differ by profession and state, so check with your own council or adviser before a page goes live.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
