Export-import consultants · Content marketing

Publish the guide an exporter reads before choosing whom to phone.

Content marketing for an export-import consultant is the writing of guides, checklists and worked examples that answer an owner's question before the first call. GullySales plans and drafts the pieces, and your team checks every rule before they go live.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For export-import consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The first-timer reads before calling”

An owner with an overseas enquiry wants the order of steps, from registration to payment. A guide that follows that order earns a reader who then knows which questions to ask you.

  • “Generic guides sit beside government pages”

Official portals already explain the forms. A guide adds value by saying what goes wrong, which document is rejected for which reason, and what a first-time exporter of a given product misses.

  • “A worked example beats a definition”

Showing how a rice exporter moves from an enquiry to a paid invoice teaches more than defining a letter of credit. Examples should be built from real jobs, with the client's identity removed.

  • “Content that is never revisited becomes a risk”

A guide written once and left will drift out of date. Each piece needs a review owner and a last-checked line, or it should be taken down.

What we do

What we deliver for export-import consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A first-shipment guide

A step-by-step guide from registrations to getting paid, in plain language, with space for product-specific notes.

Result: A first-timer sees the order of the steps.

  2. Product handling notes

Short notes on the documents, packing and certificates that matter for a given product, written for your team to verify.

Result: An owner of that product finds details specific to them.

  3. Worked examples from real jobs

Case write-ups with names and amounts changed, showing a problem and what the consultant did.

Result: Each example shows judgement, not just a service list.

  4. Checklists to download

Checklists for an overseas enquiry, a held container or a claim, shared in exchange for a phone number.

Result: A reader who wants more leaves a contact.

  5. A review schedule

A list of every rule-based piece with its owner and last-checked date.

Result: You know which pieces need rechecking and who does it.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How many articles do I need?
Fewer than you expect. A handful of strong pieces on the products and routes you handle serve better than a large collection of generic ones. Add more when the enquiry log shows which questions owners ask.
Who writes the content?
GullySales drafts from your notes and your past jobs, and your team checks every rule and figure before publication. The facts come from you, since you know the shipments.
Can I reuse content on WhatsApp and LinkedIn?
Yes. A guide can be cut into short messages and posts, each linking back to the full page. Keep the dated rules on the page and the situation in the post.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
