Export-import consultants · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp to take an exporter from first question to signed job.

WhatsApp marketing for an export-import consultant is the use of one business number for enquiries, document requests and follow-up with exporters, importers and referrers. GullySales sets up the number, the quick replies and the rules for who answers.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For export-import consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Exporters already send documents on WhatsApp”

Photos of an invoice, a packing list or a notice arrive on the chat before they reach email. A business number gives those files a home that is not a partner's personal phone.

  • “A personal number leaves with the person”

When the partner who handles an owner moves on, the whole history sits on a private phone. A business number with shared access keeps the thread with the practice.

  • “A broadcast to every contact backfires”

Sending a general note to every saved number reaches people who did not ask for it. Send only to those who opted in, with a reason tied to their product or date, and check the platform's current rules.

  • “A quick reply cannot answer a rule question”

A saved reply that quotes a duty or a scheme risks being stale. Quick replies should handle greetings, document lists and booking a call, and leave rule questions to a person.

What we do

What we deliver for export-import consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business number set up

A WhatsApp Business profile with the name, services, hours and a greeting, linked to the website and the Google profile.

Result: A new contact sees a business profile, not a personal number.

  2. Quick replies for common questions

Saved replies for the document list, the call booking and the first-timer questions, written in the team's voice.

Result: Routine questions get a ready, consistent reply.

  3. Labels for stage and urgency

Labels such as new enquiry, documents awaited, urgent shipment and renewal due, applied to each chat.

Result: The team sees where each conversation stands.

  4. An opt-in message and list

A simple way for clients to agree to receive reminders, and a list of those who did, kept separate from other contacts.

Result: You message only people who asked to hear from you.

  5. Hand-off rules

A short note on who answers which chats, and what to do when the person is away.

Result: A chat does not wait for one person.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can I run WhatsApp for the whole team?
Yes, using WhatsApp Business with shared access or the business platform your team chooses. Decide who answers what, so two people do not reply to the same owner differently.
Is it right to send documents over WhatsApp?
It is widespread, but treat sensitive commercial files with care. Share only what the job needs, tell the owner how files are used and kept, and move large or formal documents to email or a secure folder.
Can I send offers to my old clients?
Only to those who agreed to hear from you, and only with a reason such as a due date. Keep messages short, offer a way to stop and check the platform's current rules.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
