Management consulting firms · Digital marketing

Choose the few online routes that carry referrals and shortlists to your partners.

Digital marketing for a consulting firm is a small set of channels that support referrals and shortlists: the website, search, the partners' LinkedIn profiles and email notes. GullySales picks the routes your buyers use, builds them and records what each brings.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For management consulting firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Referral work needs an online home”

Every introduction ends with the buyer searching the firm online. The website, the partner profiles and a few published pieces are the shop window for work won offline, and they decide whether the introduction survives the check.

  • “A wide channel mix wastes small teams”

A firm of a few partners cannot run every channel well. Two or three done properly, such as the website, LinkedIn and a sector email note, will carry more than a thin presence everywhere.

  • “Paid ads suit a few services only”

A buyer searching for a defined service, such as a business plan review for lenders, may respond to a search ad. A general brand ad for consulting reaches the wrong people at a high price.

  • “Email notes reach people who know the partner”

A sector note sent to contacts who have met the partner earns replies. A cold mailing to a purchased list earns complaints. The list is the asset, and it grows through meetings and introductions.

What we do

What we deliver for management consulting firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel choice for the firm

A short written decision on which channels the firm will use, which it will skip and why, based on how past engagements arrived.

Result: The partners know where effort goes and where it does not.

  2. The website as shop window

Partner pages, problem pages and a clear route to contact, built for the person who was just given a name.

Result: A referred buyer finds what they were hoping to see.

  3. LinkedIn and email routine

A shared approach to partner posts and a sector note, with partner approval.

Result: Each partner has a clear, simple routine they can keep.

  4. A test plan for paid search

A limited trial for one or two services a buyer would search by name, with a budget set by the firm.

Result: The firm sees whether paid search brings conversations before committing more.

  5. A source-by-source report

Conversations, proposals and wins recorded by channel against the starting figures.

Result: The partners read which routes deserve more time.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

Do we really need digital marketing if we win through referrals?
The referral still ends in a search. Digital work is the part that makes a referred buyer comfortable, and it opens a few routes to buyers who have not heard of you. It supports referrals, it does not replace them.
What budget should a consulting firm set?
That depends on the firm's size and its pipeline, and we do not suggest a figure here. We begin with low-cost work on the site and profiles and add spend only where the record supports it.
How do we know which channel brings work?
Every enquiry and every meeting is entered with how the buyer found the firm. After several engagements, that record shows which routes lead to proposals and wins.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
