Marketing consultants · Website

Make the site say what you do, what you refuse and how the first step works.

A website for a marketing consultant is the page a founder checks to decide whether you are an adviser or an agency in disguise. GullySales works on the scope statement, the proof and the path from any page to a paid first conversation.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For marketing consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A service list signals an agency”

A long grid of services, from branding to ads to video, tells the visitor you deliver all of it. The founder wanted judgement. Replace the list with the decisions you help a founder make, and the visitor sees an adviser.

  • “A refusal line builds trust”

A sentence saying you do not run ads or manage accounts surprises a visitor and reassures them. It shows your advice is not shaped by what you sell. Put it high on the page, not in a footnote.

  • “Proof has to work without client names”

Without names the site needs other evidence: your in-house background, a labelled worked example, approved decision notes and, where true, a plain statement on whether you take payment from the agencies you recommend.

  • “The first step must be one click away”

A founder who has decided to talk should reach the first-step page from any other page. Hide it behind a general contact form and the enquiry arrives as a request for ideas rather than a request for a review.

What we do

What we deliver for marketing consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Home page restated

A first screen saying who you advise, what you do and what you do not, in a founder's words.

Result: A visitor knows within the first lines whether you are for them.

  2. Scope and refusal page

A page listing what the work covers, what it excludes and how an engagement is shaped.

Result: Buyers compare you with advisers, not agencies.

  3. Worked-example page

A page walking through a review of a labelled illustrative business.

Result: Your reasoning can be read without a call.

  4. First-step page

A page describing the paid first review, what the founder brings and what the founder receives.

Result: Enquiries arrive aware of the first step.

  5. Qualifying enquiry form

A short form asking the business, its stage, what has been tried and what decision is pending.

Result: Each enquiry tells you whether a call is worth booking.

  6. About page

A page giving your in-house and agency history in plain terms, with permission for anything naming a business.

Result: The founder can see where your judgement comes from.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do I need a portfolio?
A portfolio of client creative suggests execution. An adviser's equivalent is a set of decision notes and one worked example. If you list client names, hold written permission for each.
Should prices be on the site?
State what the first review includes and how a fee is set, and give a figure only if you are comfortable holding it. Describing the structure screens out people wanting free ideas. GullySales does not set your fee.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
