Quality management consultants · Professional services
Be the consultant a customer's quality audit pushes a supplier to call.
A tier-two auto component maker in Peenya receives a rejection note from a customer plant: a batch failed on a dimension, and the customer wants an eight-discipline report in a week. The owner has no quality head, so the question goes to the supplier next door: who helped you?
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph
Quality management consultants help a business cut rejection, rework and customer complaints, and meet the quality demands of its buyers. Marketing puts you in front of the supplier whose customer has just sent a corrective action request. Sales turns that urgency into a scoped project. GullySales begins with the defects and customer audits you know best.
That is where quality work starts. The owner is not shopping for a management system. The worry is a lost purchase order. A consultant who describes "quality excellence journeys" does not get the call. The one who has written a corrective action report for a plant like this one does.

How buyers decide
How quality management consultants are chosen.
The trigger comes from outside the business. A customer audit, a rejection, a new tender that asks for a specific standard, or a buyer's supplier quality manual. The owner's first search is for the document or the tool: "8D report format", "PPAP documents", "how to reduce rework", "5S implementation". The search for a person comes later.
Consultants are found through other suppliers, through the customer's own supplier development team, and through industry associations. A quality manager at a large plant who audits a weak supplier can name a consultant, so that manager is worth a proper introduction.
The owner wants to see that you know the product and the customer's way of auditing. A profile that lists defects solved in castings, fasteners or packaging is believed. One that lists only standards is not. The owner also asks what has to be done in-house and how many hours of floor staff time you need.
The problem
What usually goes wrong for quality management consultants.
What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.
“Work arrives only under pressure”
The call comes after a rejection or an audit, so every engagement starts in a hurry, with the fee negotiated against the owner's panic.
“Searches go to templates, not consultants”
People look for report formats and checklists. Without a useful free page, you are not even in the result.
“Overlap with ISO certification consultants”
Owners treat quality and certification as one thing, so they see you as a competitor to cheaper certificate-focused firms.
“Your results depend on the shop floor”
The owner may not make the changes you recommend. Without a way to show the work continued after you left, the case notes look thin.
“Customers' supplier teams are not tapped”
The quality managers who tell suppliers to improve are never given a reason to name you.
“Training and consulting get mixed up”
A one-day training fills the room with small buyers who never move to a project, and the diary fills with low-value work.
What we do
What we do for quality management consultants.
Everything included for quality management consultants.
Pages for each customer demand
Pages for 8D reports, PPAP documents, supplier audits, control plans and 5S, each written around what the supplier has to hand over and by when.
Pages for each defect
Rejection in machining, rework in moulding, packaging damage and warranty returns, each with the questions you ask and the data you need.
Free working templates
A corrective-action report format, a rejection log and a simple check-sheet, free to download with a short note on how to use them.
A page that separates quality from certification
Plain words on where a quality project ends and where a certificate begins, and which one the buyer's customer is actually asking for.
Anonymised case notes
The product, the defect, what was found at the source and what was measured afterwards, in the owner's figures where they agree.
An introduction for supplier development teams
A one-page note a customer's supplier quality manager can hand to weak suppliers, with a plain description of how you work.
How the result is measured
- Enquiries by trigger, such as rejection, audit or tender
- Template downloads and the enquiries that follow
- Training enquiries that become projects
- Projects signed from enquiries
- Introductions from supplier quality managers
- Repeat work from past clients
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Every service, written for quality management consultants
Each has its own page: what it involves for quality management consultants, what you get, and what it is measured on.
- Lead generationReach the supplier while the customer's rejection note is still on the desk.
- SEOBe the page an owner finds when searching for the defect, not the standard.
- Social media marketingPost the shop-floor fix a plant manager would forward to the quality head.
- Content marketingWrite the guide that gets the supplier facing an audit to call you instead of a friend.
- Buyer personaKnow the three people who decide when a customer plant sends a rejection.
- CRMKeep a record of every trigger so no audit-week enquiry is lost to memory.
- Follow-up systemsChase the proposal after the audit date, not before the owner has read it.
- WhatsApp marketingAnswer the plant owner's rejection photo on WhatsApp the way a colleague would.
- Digital marketingPut the rejection fix, the audit guide and your profile where plant people look.
- WebsiteBuild a site that tells a plant owner in one screen whether you know the part.
Worth a page and a campaign of their own
Pages for the defect, such as rejection, rework, warranty returns and complaint closure · Pages for the customer demand, such as 8D reports, PPAP, supplier audits and 5S · Free templates and checklists that earn a place in search · Clear separation from certification-only consultants, with the reason stated · Introductions to supplier development managers at large plants · A route for training enquiries into project conversations · Case notes in the owner's own words and with their figures where allowed · Tracking of enquiries by defect type and by customer trigger
Priority campaigns
Campaigns for what quality management consultants most want to sell.
Each one planned around when your buyers decide, and measured against the baseline.
Rejection-note campaign
Search ads and pages for owners looking up report formats and corrective actions, with the template download as the first step.
Supplier audit preparation
A page and outreach for suppliers who have a customer audit coming, covering the documents auditors ask for first.
Training to project route
A follow-up for each person who attends a one-day session, describing what a project on their own floor would cover.
Association talk follow-up
After a talk at an industry body, a note and the templates go to each attendee who left a contact.
Supplier development outreach
Short introductions to quality managers at OEM and large plants who run supplier improvement programmes.
Beyond search
Where we reach buyers of quality management consultants, beyond Google.
Search matters, but it is rarely the only way this industry's buyers find a supplier.
Supplier development and supplier quality managers
When a supplier fails an audit, this manager is asked for a name. A note states what you do and what you leave to the supplier, so naming you is an easy decision for the plant.
Industry associations and clusters
Industrial estate bodies and sector associations in your own cluster. Offer a talk on reading a customer rejection note, with a template to take home.
Tool room and machine vendors
A die that wears early or a gauge that drifts reaches their bench first. A short referral note tells them what to hand the customer.
Testing laboratories and calibration houses
A lab watches the same customer's samples fail the same test. A referral arrangement lets the lab point to you for the cause on the floor.
LinkedIn for quality and production heads
Posts about a defect and what it traced back to, then a direct message to those who engage.

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
- You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
- You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.
How it works
How the work runs for quality management consultants
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
List the defects and customer demands you have solved
The requirements brief, then a conversation about the defects you solve, the customer demands you know and the plants you want to work for.
- 2
Record the baseline
Where enquiries come from, which trigger brought each one, how many became projects and how many training enquiries moved on.
- 3
Build the pages and templates
Demand pages, defect pages and downloads, drafted with you and tested against what you would actually say on a shop floor.
- 4
Start reach and follow-up
Search and introductions go live, and each enquiry is logged with its trigger and next step.
- 5
Rework the pages that bring only template-hunters
Results are read against the starting record, and pages that bring only students or template-hunters are reworked.
Proof
What happened when owners fixed this.
Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.
Growth Sage
- Situation
- There was no settled visual identity, so nothing on the page told a prospect what kind of firm this was.
- What we did
- Vision and brand values
- A logo for a professional firm
- The site audited, then rebuilt
- Market and competitor research
- Result
- No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
GullySales builds every engagement from three pieces of sales work. This page is not one of them, but the same three steps apply to the business behind it.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
