Land surveying companies · CRM

Keep every plot enquiry in one list that your whole office can read.

A CRM for a land surveying company is a single record of each enquiry, quote and job. GullySales sets one up around plots, survey numbers and quote status, so a call taken in the field is not lost in a notebook.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What CRM means

A CRM is the record where every enquiry, call and quote is kept against a customer, replacing separate notebooks, spreadsheets and memory. GullySales sets up or cleans an existing CRM and reports from it by enquiry outcome rather than by activity logged.

For land surveying companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Enquiries live in notebooks and phones”

A call taken at a site is written on a slip, and the slip is gone by the next stop. When the buyer calls again no one knows what was quoted. Move every call into one list by the end of the working day, so a slip of paper never holds the only copy.

  • “A plot is the natural record”

Each record needs survey number, village, taluk, survey type and who referred it. Generic fields do not fit a surveyor's work. Build the fields from the work: survey number, village, taluk, type, instrument and who referred the plot.

  • “Quotes stall at the family discussion”

The quote is sent and the family takes weeks to decide. Without a due date for the next call, the lead goes cold. Give every quote a date for the next contact, so a family's long silence does not close the file by default.

  • “Referrers deserve their own record”

The advocate who sent several jobs should be easy to find, with the last job and the last thank-you noted. Record each referrer's last job and last contact, so a quiet advocate can be called before the work drifts away.

What we do

What we deliver for land surveying companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Fields built for plots and surveys

Survey number, village, taluk, survey type, instrument needed and quote status, in a tool your team already can use.

Result: Each enquiry carries the plot details.

  2. Stages from enquiry to stamped plan

Enquiry, site visit, quote, accepted, fieldwork, drawing, delivered, paid, each with an owner.

Result: You can see where each job stands.

  3. Next-call date on every open quote

A rule that a quote cannot sit without a date for the next contact.

Result: No open quote is left without a follow-up.

  4. Referrer records

Advocates, valuers, architects and builders listed with the jobs they sent and the last time anyone spoke to them.

Result: You can see which referrers need a call.

  5. Phone and WhatsApp capture

A simple method for entering calls and messages from the field, even from a phone.

Result: Field enquiries reach the list the same day.

  6. Handover from enquiry to field crew

A job sheet generated from the record, with plot details, access contact and instrument needed, passed to the crew before the site visit.

Result: The crew arrives knowing the plot and the contact.

  7. Lost-job and paid-job view

A simple view of quotes won, lost and unpaid, filtered by survey type and by referrer.

Result: You can see which jobs and referrers carry the office.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries logged in the CRM
  • Data completeness
  • Reports generated from CRM data

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the CRM work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Map the sales process

We record how a deal actually moves from enquiry to close in your business today.

  2. 2

    Configure stages and fields

The CRM's pipeline and fields are built to match that process exactly, not a generic template.

  3. 3

    Set up automations

Reminders, assignment rules and follow-up triggers are configured so routine steps happen without manual effort.

  4. 4

    Test with real deals

We run the configuration against actual current deals to catch gaps before the whole team relies on it.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales management. A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3 · you are here

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need paid software?
Not always. A shared sheet can work for a small office. We recommend a tool by how many people enter data, and we name only products in ordinary use in India.
Will my crew actually use it?
Only if entry takes seconds. We keep the fields few and build a phone-friendly form, and we train the person who answers the phone first.
Is client land data safe in a CRM?
Keep only what you need and limit who sees it. Choose a tool with proper access control and check data protection obligations with your own adviser.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
