Land surveying companies · Lead generation

Be the surveyor a worried plot buyer finds before the registration date.

Lead generation for a land surveying company is the set of ways a buyer, builder or lawyer with a boundary question reaches you instead of the next surveyor. GullySales works on the pages, listings and referral habits that put your name in front of that person when the worry starts.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For land surveying companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The enquiry begins with a document, not a service name”

A buyer holds an RTC extract, a sale agreement or a bank letter and searches for the problem in plain words. Your pages need to name those papers and the survey that answers them. Name the papers on the page and the call arrives with a plot already described.

  • “Lawyers and valuers pass names on after one good sketch”

A sketch the sub-registrar accepts is remembered by the advocate who filed it. Treat those few professionals as a channel to look after, not as luck. Look after those few professionals by name and the diary stops depending on chance.

  • “Builders buy a drawing format, not a survey”

A project head wants contours or a topographic plan that opens cleanly in the architect's software. Lead sources for that buyer sit on LinkedIn and with architects, not on a plot-buyer search. Their referrals come through architects, LinkedIn and direct contact, so leads for that buyer are built in a different place.

  • “A call missed in the field is a lead handed over”

Surveyors are on site when the phone rings. A caller who hears nothing back by evening dials the next listing. Keep one person answering missed calls the same evening, with a short message sent at once.

What we do

What we deliver for land surveying companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each survey type

Boundary demarcation, topographic, contour, layout and subdivision surveys each get their own page, with the papers the client should bring.

Result: A caller searching one survey type lands on a page that names it.

  2. Enquiry form built for a nervous caller

Survey number, village, taluk and purpose are asked in plain fields, so your first reply starts from the plot and not from questions.

Result: Each enquiry arrives with enough detail to quote from.

  3. Google Business Profile for the office

Service areas, survey types, photographs of fieldwork and the office address are filled in, with the profile linked to the right pages.

Result: Your profile lists what you survey and where.

  4. Referral list of advocates, valuers and architects

A short sheet of the professionals who have sent work, who last heard from you, and what each one needs on a sketch.

Result: You can see which referrers have gone quiet.

  5. Source tracking for every enquiry

Each call, form and WhatsApp message is tagged by where it came from and entered in one sheet.

Result: You can say which source brought each signed job.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which channel brings the biggest jobs?
Layout developers and builders come through architects, LinkedIn and direct approaches. Individual plot buyers come through search and lawyers. We track both, so you can see which feeds the larger quotes.
Do we need to advertise a drone survey to get leads?
Only if you fly one legally. Developers search for drone and total station work by name, so a page helps if you offer it. If you do not, we build around the instruments you use.
Can you promise a number of enquiries?
No. Enquiries depend on your area, your season and how your team answers. We build the routes and show you where each enquiry came from. We also note whether each enquiry was answered the same day, because a late reply loses the buyer.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
