Residential architects · WhatsApp marketing

Turn a photo of a plot and a price question into a real conversation.

WhatsApp is where plot owners send a site photo and ask what it will cost. GullySales works on the first reply, the shared catalogue of houses and the way messages are logged, using WhatsApp Business in ordinary use in India.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For residential architects

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The first message is a photo and a price”

A family sends a site picture and asks for the cost. A reply with a percentage starts a fee comparison. A reply that thanks them and asks about the plot size, the family and the budget turns the exchange into a discussion about the house.

  • “Messages end up on one person's phone”

The architect's number carries every enquiry, and a site day means unanswered messages. A business profile, a shared inbox approach and agreed replies mean the practice still answers a plot owner promptly when the principal is on a slab and cannot look at a phone.

  • “Sending portfolios as heavy files annoys people”

A forty-megabyte PDF on a mobile network goes unopened. A short catalogue of three houses matched to the plot size, with a link to the full page, gets read, keeps the chat light and leaves the family free to ask for the next house.

What we do

What we deliver for residential architects.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. WhatsApp Business profile set-up

Name, description, hours, address and a catalogue of finished houses by plot size.

Result: The profile describes your practice and shows your work.

  2. First-reply script

A short opening that thanks, asks three questions and offers a site visit.

Result: Each enquiry gets the same careful start.

  3. Saved replies for common questions

Saved answers on fee scope, sanction, supervision and what to bring to a meeting.

Result: Common questions are answered in your wording.

  4. Enquiry logging

Each chat's plot, family and next step noted in the CRM.

Result: No enquiry lives only on one phone.

  5. Consent and broadcast rules

Messages sent only to people who have agreed to hear from you, with a clear way to stop.

Result: Your list is built from recorded consent.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these residential architects.

  • Independent architects designing individual houses on owned plots
  • Practices working on gated-community villas and farmhouses
  • Architects for apartment renovation and home redesign
  • Studios specialising in compact urban houses on 20 by 30 and 30 by 40 sites
  • Architects who take on vernacular and sustainable homes
  • Design-and-build practices that also supervise construction
  • Architects serving non-resident Indian families building at home
  • Small practices that work with a single partner and one site engineer

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we message past enquiries in bulk?
Only to people who have agreed to receive messages from you, and in line with the platform's current rules. We set up consent first and keep the messages relevant.
Should the principal answer every message?
Not always. Agree who replies, in what voice and when the principal steps in, such as for a fee discussion or a site visit date.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
