Jewellery retailers · Outdoor advertising

The flex has to be up while she is still shortlisting, not on the muhurta day.

Outdoor advertising for a showroom is one named site at a time on the roads a bridal family already drives, held for a display cycle that opens before the buying season does. GullySales judges each site by the direction traffic moves and whether the lighting works after dark, then gives the campaign a code the counter can ask for.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What outdoor advertising means

Outdoor advertising is the hoarding, billboard, bus shelter or digital screen on a road your buyers already use. GullySales picks the sites from where your customers actually come from, coordinates the booking with the media owner, and gives the campaign a traceable route so it is not judged on guesswork.

For jewellery retailers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A bridal shortlist is made weeks before the date”

The family choosing for a November wedding starts in September, and a panel mounted for the festival fortnight is talking to people who picked their showroom long ago. The cycle is booked back from the season, not around it.

  • “One carriageway brings her to you and the other takes her home”

She passes your road twice a day, and only the inbound pass can end in a turn into your parking. Two panels on the same stretch, at the same rate, are worth completely different money.

  • “A necklace does not survive at a hundred metres”

Detail that sells a set inside a display case disappears from a moving car. One piece, very large, with the showroom name and the road it stands on, does more than six designs arranged like a catalogue page.

  • “Nothing on the structure counts itself”

A hoarding cannot know who walked in, and any viewer number quoted alongside a site photograph is an estimate. A code printed on the panels alone, asked for at billing and on the bridal desk's WhatsApp, is the only link to the sale.

What we do

What we deliver for jewellery retailers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Site shortlist drawn from last season's billing addresses

The roads and junctions your own customers came in from, and only the panels facing traffic that is moving towards the showroom.

Result: You buy the approach rather than the postcode.

  2. Illumination checked after dark

An evening visit to every back-lit site on the list, because the wedding shopper is on that road after work and an unlit panel is a blank board.

Result: You do not pay an illuminated rate for a dark structure.

  3. Display cycle dated to the buying window

Mounting set ahead of the muhurta dates and the festival, take-down set after them, both written into the order with the media owner.

Result: The site is working while families are still deciding.

  4. Artwork built for three seconds

One piece of jewellery, the showroom name at the size a driver reads it, and the offer in a single line, all inside the safe area the frame leaves.

Result: The panel is read in the time it actually gets.

  5. Mounted and mid-cycle photographs

Dated pictures of your flex in place at the start and again during the cycle, so a torn or over-pasted panel is replaced while the season is still on.

Result: You see the site you are paying for.

  6. A code for the counter and the bridal desk

One code carried on the hoardings and nowhere else, asked at billing and by whoever answers the bridal enquiries on WhatsApp, logged against each site.

Result: You can tell which road paid for its own cycle.

How the result is measured

  • Sites booked
  • Proof of display received
  • Enquiries quoting the campaign route

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it is bought, and approved

A jeweller buys hoardings face by face, and the owner, the civic body and hallmarking rules clear them first.

The face that looks at your customers
A face seen by traffic leaving the city shows the board to people going home. Pick the face whose traffic heads towards your showroom.
Lighting for late hours
Showrooms stay open into the evening. Check after dark that the lights work, and ask who pays for them and who repairs them.
Purity and hallmark lines
A line about purity or hallmarked gold is a claim. Check the current hallmarking rules before you print it, and only claim what applies to everything you sell.
No day's rate on a flex
Gold rates and making charges change. A printed rate is wrong by the time it is read, so print the showroom's name, the collection and the number instead.
Festive and wedding booking
Good faces for Akshaya Tritiya, Dhanteras and the wedding season are held by earlier advertisers. Book early and put the dates on the order.
A code at the counter
Print a code the counter and the bridal desk ask for, and add 'saw the board' to the billing entry.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the outdoor advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Draw the catchment

We agree the roads, junctions and neighbourhoods your buyer moves through. It is almost always a smaller area than an owner first says, and a clinic in Nagarbhavi does not need the whole of west Bengaluru.

  2. 2

    Survey what is available

We work through the sites on offer inside that catchment and go and stand in front of the ones worth looking at.

  3. 3

    Compare and book

Sites are compared on facing, visibility, illumination and cycle length, then booked through the media owner or their agency at a negotiated rate.

  4. 4

    Print to specification

Artwork is made to the exact panel size and delivered ahead of mounting day, with a proof you approve before printing.

  5. 5

    Monitor the cycle

We collect mounting and mid-cycle photographs, and take up anything late, torn or unlit with the media owner while the cycle is still running.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We have one showroom. How many sites are enough?
Two or three on the approaches your billing addresses already point to, each held for its whole cycle. A single panel for a fortnight buys a glance from people who were never going to remember it. The pass that registers is the fourth or fifth one.
Is a hoarding better than putting the money into Instagram?
They answer different questions. Instagram shows the designs a bride saves and sends to her mother, and a hoarding puts your name on the road she drives to the showroom. If only one is funded this season, fund the one that reports back, and that is not the hoarding.
Can we put a film star or a model on the board?
A star needs a signed contract with the period and places of use. A model needs a release for the photograph. Using a face without these can bring a claim. A piece of jewellery shot well on a plain ground reads faster at speed.
Should the panel sit near the jewellers' street or on the road before it?
On the street, shoppers arrive to compare, so a panel reaches them at the right moment but the faces cost more and rivals are close. A site on the road before the street can reach them first. Visit both at the hour families come.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
