Plywood and timber dealers · Digital marketing

The carpenter programme earns more than any channel you can buy.

Digital marketing for a depot sits behind the real business, which is carpenters, designers and builders sending buyers to you. GullySales plans the referrer work and the search work together, times the calendar to possession handovers and housewarming months, and reports by source rather than by clicks.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For plywood and timber dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Thirty years of trade and not one review”

The newest shop on the road has forty reviews and yours has none, which is the cheapest thing in this trade to put right.

  • “The calendar is written by handover dates”

A tower gets possession and two hundred flats start interiors within four months. Miss that and the carpenters have chosen a depot.

  • “Search reaches the buyer, WhatsApp reaches the trade”

A homeowner is on Google and a carpenter is in a group, so a plan using one channel for both reaches neither.

What we do

What we deliver for plywood and timber dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A plan splitting referrer work from buyer search

Two programmes, one for carpenters, designers and builders, one for homeowners searching, with their own budgets and their own measures.

Result: Neither side gets funded out of the other's pocket.

  2. The listing and the reviews fixed first

Google and JustDial completed with brands, photographs and hours, with a review request on the delivery day, before any spend goes out.

Result: You stop looking newer than the shop opposite.

  3. A calendar built on possession and festival months

Outreach timed to towers being handed over and to the months when housewarmings cluster, planned three months ahead of each.

Result: You reach carpenters before the flats fill up.

  4. A WhatsApp catalogue kept current

Stock, new laminate ranges and rate updates sent to the carpenter and designer lists on a fixed day, instead of whenever somebody remembers.

Result: The trade knows what you hold this week.

  5. Advertising kept to the products with margin

Media spend put behind flush doors, timber and laminates rather than sheet plywood, where the carpenter decides and adverts do nothing.

Result: The budget goes where an advert can win.

  6. Reporting by source

Enquiries, quotes and orders split by carpenter, designer, builder, search and walk-in, set against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: You can see which relationship is paying.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where to start for a depot

Start with the carpenters and designers who already send people to your counter.

Carpenter and designer register
List every carpenter, contractor and interior designer who buys from you, with the area they work, what they buy and which clients they sent. Visit the ones whose purchases have slowed.
Business Profile and reviews
Complete the profile with your address, the brands and grades you stock, and counter hours. Ask regular buyers for an honest review and record the callers who mention it.
WhatsApp catalogue with dates
List the boards, laminates and doors you stock with brand, thickness and grade, and put the date on each price message so an old one is not quoted as current. Keep it up to date.
Possession and festival calendar
Note when nearby apartment projects hand over and when homeowners fit out for festivals. Visit the interior designers and builders in those projects before the work starts.
Margin by product
Write down which products earn you a margin worth advertising and which are only for carrying stock. Advertise the first group, and stay out of price wars on the second.
What to leave until later
Do not start with a web shop, paid ads for every brand or regular social media posts. Your best customers arrive through a carpenter. Fix the register, the catalogue and the profile first.

Who it is for

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the digital marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a depot start?
With the listing, the reviews and the carpenter register, in that order. All three cost time rather than media. A depot with thirty years of trade and no reviews loses walk-ins to a newer shop every week.
How is the fee worked out?
After we have read your brief and spoken to you, and written down before work starts, with our time separated from media spend and from production costs such as photographing the racks and the finished doors. The term is agreed in writing.
Should my son handle the phone catalogue or should I hire a marketing person?
Someone from the family or counter who knows the stock should own the catalogue and the register, since mistakes in grade or price cost money. An outside person suits the profile and the photographs. Fix who owns each list.
How do I tell whether a carpenter's referral or a Maps search brought the sale?
Ask each new buyer who sent them and write the carpenter's name on the invoice book or the sale slip. Maps buyers will say they searched. Compare the size and the repeat rate of both groups over a season.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
