Uniform stores · Buyer persona

Treat the parent, the school clerk and the purchase officer as three different buyers.

A buyer persona for a uniform store is a written description of who decides and who pays for a set, what each person worries about and where they look. GullySales works on turning your counter experience and enquiry records into those descriptions, and then into messages that suit each.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For uniform stores

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The one who pays is not the one who wears”

The child wears the uniform and the parent pays, but the school decides what is bought. A message aimed at the parent about style misses that the list is fixed. The parent wants the right size, the right shop and no repeat trips.

  • “The school office is a gatekeeper”

The clerk or coordinator who keeps the vendor list is not a customer, yet every parent is sent by that person. Their worry is complaints: wrong colour, wrong fabric, parents sent away. A shop that makes their life quieter is the shop they name.

  • “The institutional buyer works to a joining date”

A hospital admin or hotel HR head buys for a batch with a start date fixed by someone else. Their worry is being blamed for a delay or a poor fit. They want a sample, a written rate per set and a named person who replies.

  • “The family new to the city has no history”

Parents who have just moved know no shop. They search maps, ask in the school group and trust a name they see twice. Their worry is the first week, when the child needs the full set and the term has already started.

What we do

What we deliver for uniform stores.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A one-page persona for each buyer

Parent, school office, institutional buyer and new-to-city family, each with worries, questions and the moment they decide.

Result: Four pages your staff can read in a few minutes.

  2. An objection list from the counter

The doubts you hear at the counter, such as price, stock, quality and exchange, written with the answer that works.

Result: A list that answers the doubts before the buyer voices them.

  3. A message set for each persona

The opening note, the follow-up and the reminder, each worded for the person who will read it.

Result: Different words for the school clerk and the purchase officer.

  4. A map of where each buyer looks

Search, maps, school groups, circulars, IndiaMART and colleagues' word, set against each persona.

Result: You know where to be present for each buyer.

  5. Questions staff ask at the counter

Three or four short questions that tell the staff which persona they are speaking to and what to offer.

Result: The counter learns who is buying without a form.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

We only have a few big customers. Do we still need personas?
Yes, because even a few buyers decide differently. The persona is built from the people you already serve, so it stays small and specific. It also tells you who the next such buyer is and where to find them.
Where does the information come from?
From your counter, your chat history and your quotation records, along with a few conversations with buyers you already serve. We write what we find, and do not invent buyers who have not yet come to you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
