Corporate gifting and gift businesses · WhatsApp marketing

Send the catalogue, the mock-up and the quote where the HR team already reads.

WhatsApp marketing for a corporate gifting business means using the chat the buyer already lives in to share catalogues, mock-ups, samples and order updates. GullySales sets up the business account, the replies and the lists behind it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For corporate gifting and gift businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The brief arrives as a voice note and a photo”

An admin executive sends a photograph of last year's gift and a line about budget. A reply that asks four clear questions in the same chat moves faster than a request to fill a form.

  • “A forty-page catalogue is the wrong thing to forward”

Buyers do not open a large file on a phone. A short set of options for one budget and one occasion, with photographs and a price per piece, gets read and forwarded to the approver.

  • “Group chats hide the decision-maker”

HR, admin and finance join a chat created for one order. Naming the approver early and sending the mock-up to them directly stops the proposal sitting with someone who cannot say yes.

  • “A festival broadcast sent to everyone becomes spam”

Messaging every contact the same Diwali offer ignores who ordered, what and when. A list grouped by occasion and past order gives each buyer something relevant, and keeps the number from being reported.

What we do

What we deliver for corporate gifting and gift businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile set up properly

Business name, catalogue, hours, quick replies and an away message that tells the buyer when to expect an answer.

Result: A new enquiry gets a clear first reply.

  2. Quick replies for the common questions

Minimum quantity, branding options, GST invoice, delivery to other cities and sample terms, written once and reused.

Result: The team answers consistently without retyping.

  3. Short catalogues by budget and occasion

Small sets for employee festival gifts, client gifts and welcome kits, each ready to forward as a single file or link.

Result: The buyer can pass options to the approver in one tap.

  4. Broadcast lists with consent

Separate lists for HR buyers, small-firm owners and past customers, built from people who have agreed to hear from you.

Result: Messages go only to people who expect them.

  5. Order update messages

Proofs, production stages and dispatch details sent on the same chat as the order.

Result: The buyer does not have to ask where the order stands.

  6. A hand-off to the CRM

Each enquiry from chat logged against its account, with the source noted.

Result: No brief stays only in a phone.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Send the right piece at each point of a gifting enquiry.

First reply to a voice-note brief
A text that repeats the budget per head and quantity as understood, so a misheard number is caught early.
A short catalogue by budget
A few hampers at the stated price band as images with prices, rather than the full catalogue.
Mock-up with the logo placed
A single image of the product with the client's logo, sent for a yes or a correction in the thread.
Order update
A message when artwork is approved, when packing starts and when the courier has the boxes.
Consent line for festival offers
The date and wording of the contact's agreement to receive offers, copied into the CRM.

Who it is for

This is written for these corporate gifting and gift businesses.

  • Corporate gifting companies and B2B gift suppliers
  • Promotional merchandise and branded product makers
  • Employee welcome kit and swag providers
  • Festive hamper and dry fruit gift makers
  • Gift shops and gift stores
  • Personalised and custom gift makers
  • Handicraft and artisan gift suppliers
  • Online gifting businesses and gift delivery services

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have not yet agreed with contacts that you may message them on WhatsApp, so a broadcast would be unwelcome
  • The owner's personal number is the only line and enquiries would mix with family messages
  • You would send the whole catalogue as a file to every enquirer instead of a short selection

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
Not at the start. The Business app covers catalogues, quick replies and labels for a small team. Consider the API when several people share one number or you need automated flows. Check the platform's current rules and fees.
Can we send festival offers to all our contacts?
Send only to people who have agreed to receive messages from you, and let them opt out. Group them by occasion and past order. Check the platform's current rules before sending any bulk message.
Should the owner's personal number be the business number?
Better to use a dedicated business number on the Business app, so the team can share it and the history stays with the company when staff change.
Can we share a client's logo mock-up in a group chat?
Only in a chat the client's own team created or agreed to. A mock-up carries their brand, and a group may include people outside the company. Gifting mock-ups are checked by several approvers, so send each one in the thread where the buyer has asked for it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
