Show what came in this week, and answer the price in the comments.

Social media for a shop is where nearby people see what has just arrived and decide the trip is worth making. GullySales sets a posting routine around new stock, handles the price questions that arrive as comments, and keeps it pointed at people who live close enough to visit.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For retailers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • New stock is the post that brings people in

Offer graphics get scrolled past. What arrived, at what price, in which sizes brings the people who follow you for that reason.

  • A follower two cities away is worth nothing

Reach is a vanity number for a shop. A hundred followers who live on the same road are the whole account.

  • Every post is asked the price

Answer in the comment with the figure and the sizes left rather than asking them to message. The next person reading wanted the same answer.

  • WhatsApp status reaches the people who already bought

Your customers saved your number at billing. A status of the new arrivals reaches them without an algorithm in between.

What we do

What we deliver for retailers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A new arrivals routine for posts and status

Stock photographed the day it is unpacked, posted with the price and sizes, and put on WhatsApp status the same evening.

Result: Regulars know before they walk past the window.

  2. A reply rule for the price comment

The figure, the sizes left and an invitation to come in, answered in the comment instead of being moved to a private message.

Result: One answer serves everybody reading.

  3. Local targeting on anything paid

Boosted posts held inside the few kilometres shoppers come from, aimed at people who can actually reach the shop this week.

Result: The spend stops buying followers who will never visit.

  4. Content planned for the shop's season

Festival stock, sale dates, the school season and the wedding season planned a few weeks ahead with what to photograph.

Result: The account is busy in the weeks that earn.

  5. Customers shown with permission

Photographs and short films of real shoppers and what they bought, asked for at the counter and recorded.

Result: The feed looks like a shop people actually use.

  6. Messages and visits traced monthly

Comments, messages, status views and what staff heard at the counter, set against the figures from before the routine started.

Result: You know whether posting moved footfall.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these retailers.

  • Apparel and footwear stores
  • Electronics and appliance retailers
  • Grocery and kirana stores
  • Home decor and furnishing stores
  • Jewellery and gifting retailers
  • Multi-brand outlet stores

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for retailers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your Google Business Profile, your reviews, whether customer numbers are captured at billing, and how repeat customers are currently reached, if at all.

  2. 2

    Fix the profile

Google Business Profile completed with current photographs, hours and categories, kept correct through every festive change in timing or stock.

  3. 3

    Build the repeat-customer list

A simple way to capture a phone number at billing, and a WhatsApp catalogue that goes out for new arrivals and festive offers.

  4. 4

    Bring shoppers in

Local search, reviews from real customers, and festive-season campaigns timed to when the buying actually happens.

  5. 5

    Keep them coming back

A reminder to a customer who has not returned in a while, and a loyalty offer for the ones who shop most often.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

  • France Fox

    Situation
Eco claims are common enough in menswear that buyers discount them on sight. France Fox had a real production story and nowhere to set it out, which is the wrong way round.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we post every day?
No. Post what has arrived and what is actually happening, which for most shops is two or three times a week. Daily greetings and festival wishes teach people to scroll past you.
Instagram or WhatsApp for a shop?
WhatsApp for the people who have bought before, Instagram for the ones who have not. The same photograph does both jobs, so the extra work is small once the routine exists.
Do we need to advertise?
Not most of the year. A current Maps listing and a WhatsApp list catch the near-me searches already happening. Paid ads earn their place in the fortnight before Diwali or a big sale, when you want extra footfall fast.
Should we also sell on Amazon and Flipkart?
Sometimes, for goods that ship well and where you can match online prices. Many local stores do better leaning on what a website cannot offer: trying before buying, and an exchange at the counter. We look at your margins in the audit before suggesting either.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
