Propose phase two before the client goes shopping.

Email for a software firm is how a finished project turns into support, a next phase or a referral, and how a lost proposal comes back a year later. GullySales builds the list from your delivery records and times each send.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For software development companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A launched project ends the conversation

Nobody proposes what comes next, so the client finds another vendor for support six months later.

  • Lost proposals were usually lost to timing

The budget moved to the next year, and nobody wrote again when that year arrived.

  • IT heads keep mail, founders keep WhatsApp

An established company wants the document in email for its approval file, and a startup founder answers on the phone.

What we do

What we deliver for software development companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list built from delivery records

Every client, their systems, the launch date, the support status and the person who signed, cleaned of people who have left.

Result: Each send reaches somebody who used the work.

  2. A next-phase note after every launch

A short mail a month after go-live with what the data shows, what is worth adding next and what it would cost.

Result: Phase two is proposed before a competitor appears.

  3. A support offer in writing before warranty ends

What is covered, the response times and the annual price, sent before the warranty period closes rather than after a breakage.

Result: Support becomes an agreement, not a favour.

  4. A note on ageing systems and versions

A mail to clients running a framework, library or platform going out of support, with the risk and the work involved.

Result: Upgrade work is sold before a security problem.

  5. A revival sequence for lost proposals

Two mails to buyers who went quiet, the first with something useful in their domain, the second timed to their budget month.

Result: Last year's no becomes this year's discovery.

  6. Replies and opportunities counted by list

What each send produced, measured as replies and opportunities rather than opens, against the baseline from the audit.

Result: The list that never answers gets rested.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for software development companies

  1. 1

    Assess

The free audit looks at revenue by client, where each project came from, how proposals are priced, and how much founder time goes into selling.

  2. 2

    Choose the specialism

A written decision on domains, project types and markets to lead with.

  3. 3

    Build the proof

NDA-safe case studies, a discovery offer and a proposal that answers the buyer's risk questions.

  4. 4

    Run the pipeline

Research-led outreach, partner referrals and a CRM that shows every opportunity.

  5. 5

    Grow the accounts

Account plans, next-phase proposals and support contracts for every client you have delivered for.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

All case studies
  • Sentence Labs

    Situation
Almost nothing of Sentence Labs was online, so a technically credible company was more or less invisible to the buyers who needed it.
    What we did
    • Research first
    • The website rebuilt
    • Search work across the board
    • Google Business Profile
    Result
No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

  • Hotel Felicity Inn

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What do we send a client whose project is finished?
A support offer, a note on what is ageing in their system, and one idea for the next phase.
How often should we write to past clients?
Tie it to their dates: the support renewal, a platform version going out of support, and their budget month.
How do we show our work when everything is under NDA?
Describe the problem, the approach and the result without the client's name or screens. Buyers mostly want to know that you have solved a similar problem, and an anonymised case study with a reference call on request usually does the job.
Should we quote fixed price or time and material?
Use a paid discovery to fix the scope first, then offer a fixed price for well-defined work and time and material for evolving products. Quoting a fixed price on a two-line idea usually costs you money or the client.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
