Software development companies · Lead generation

Turn the two-line idea into a scope before quoting it.

Lead generation for a software firm is bringing enquiries in and finding out, before an estimate is given, what is actually being built and who is paying for it. GullySales builds the outreach lists, the qualifying questions and the record of what each source produced.

A sorting hopper in a depot yard: a wide gold hopper on a steel frame, its throat splitting into three chutes that feed three floor bins, one heaped past its own spout, one half caught, one barely started

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For software development companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A price given on a two-line idea becomes the ceiling

Whatever number you say first is what the founder remembers once the scope has doubled.

  • One client paying the salaries is not a pipeline

The month that account cuts scope, the founders are back on LinkedIn between production releases.

  • Delivery stops selling every release

The people who can sell are the people fixing production, so the pipeline dries in exactly the busy months.

What we do

What we deliver for software development companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A qualifying call before any estimate

The problem, the users, the deadline, where the budget comes from and who signs, asked in order and written into the CRM.

Result: Nobody quotes a number on a WhatsApp message.

  2. A paid discovery offer with a fixed fee

A short priced stage producing a scope, an architecture note and an estimate, with the fee set against the build if it goes ahead.

Result: The estimate rests on understanding rather than a guess.

  3. An outreach list narrowed to one domain

Companies in the trade you know best, with the founder, the IT head and the problem they are likely to have researched beforehand.

Result: Replies come from people who recognise themselves.

  4. Referral arrangements with ERP vendors and CAs

A note for the advisers who see clients outgrowing spreadsheets, setting out what you take on and what you do not.

Result: Projects arrive from somebody the buyer already pays.

  5. One view of every live opportunity

Each deal by stage, owner and next action in a single view, reviewed with the partners at a fixed time each month.

Result: Selling continues through a heavy release month.

  6. Every opportunity marked with its source

Where each enquiry, discovery and signed contract came from, reported monthly against the baseline from the audit.

Result: You invest in the source that produced contracts.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for software development companies

  1. 1

    Assess

The free audit looks at revenue by client, where each project came from, how proposals are priced, and how much founder time goes into selling.

  2. 2

    Choose the specialism

A written decision on domains, project types and markets to lead with.

  3. 3

    Build the proof

NDA-safe case studies, a discovery offer and a proposal that answers the buyer's risk questions.

  4. 4

    Run the pipeline

Research-led outreach, partner referrals and a CRM that shows every opportunity.

  5. 5

    Grow the accounts

Account plans, next-phase proposals and support contracts for every client you have delivered for.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we answer a request for a fixed price?
Offer a paid discovery that produces the scope and the estimate. Serious buyers accept it, and the rest were comparing rates.
Where do new clients come from besides referrals?
Incubators, ERP vendors, CAs and narrow outreach in one domain. Tag every opportunity so you know which one repeats.
How do we show our work when everything is under NDA?
Describe the problem, the approach and the result without the client's name or screens. Buyers mostly want to know that you have solved a similar problem, and an anonymised case study with a reference call on request usually does the job.
Should we quote fixed price or time and material?
Use a paid discovery to fix the scope first, then offer a fixed price for well-defined work and time and material for evolving products. Quoting a fixed price on a two-line idea usually costs you money or the client.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
