Structural and civil engineers · Email marketing

A proposal sent and never chased is a fee you gave away.

Email does two quiet jobs for a structural practice. It chases fee proposals to a decision, and it keeps architects, builders and past clients in touch with the work. GullySales rebuilds the contact list from your project files and runs both on a schedule.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For structural and civil engineers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The proposal that went quiet is usually still live

A builder who did not reply was waiting on a loan, a partner or an approval. A note six weeks later finds the project moving again.

  • Associations should hear from you before the rains

A message to committees in the months before the monsoon, about what to look at now, arrives while a leak is still a small decision.

  • Completed buildings are contacts nobody keeps

The owner, the architect and the contractor from a finished project are the warmest list a practice has, and most lose them when the file closes.

What we do

What we deliver for structural and civil engineers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A contact list rebuilt from project files

Owners, architects, builders and committees from past projects, with the building and the year attached, pulled into one maintained list.

Result: You can reach everyone the practice has ever worked for.

  2. A follow-up schedule for every fee proposal

Dated notes and calls against each proposal, keyed to the committee meeting or approval the client is waiting on.

Result: Proposals reach a decision rather than fading out.

  3. A quarterly project note to architects

One structure per quarter, described with the constraint and the solution, sent to every practice on your referrer list.

Result: Architects remember you between projects.

  4. A pre-monsoon message to associations

A dated note to committees on what to inspect before the rains and what a small problem looks like at this stage.

Result: Audit enquiries arrive before an emergency does.

  5. A completion note to owners and contractors

A short summary sent when a building is handed over, thanking the parties and recording what was designed and inspected.

Result: A finished project ends with a reason to stay in touch.

  6. Monthly reporting on proposals revived

Replies, reopened proposals and appointments traced to each mailing, against the baseline taken at the audit.

Result: The chasing is judged on the fees it recovered.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for structural and civil engineers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where your appointments come from, how dependent you are on a few architects, and how many proposals turn into work.

  2. 2

    Fix the proposal follow-up

A standard fee proposal that explains scope, and a follow-up tracker for every proposal sent.

  3. 3

    Make the work visible

A project record by building type, a sample audit report and site inspection notes for owners.

  4. 4

    Widen the sources

Architect and builder outreach, local search for house owners and audits, and industrial shed outreach.

  5. 5

    Keep the specifiers

Regular contact with every architect and builder who has sent work, and a thank-you and project summary when a building completes.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is chasing a fee proposal unprofessional?
No, it is ordinary practice. A short note asking whether the project is proceeding, and whether anything in the scope needs adjusting, reads as diligence. Silence reads as indifference.
What would an architect actually read from us?
One project, explained. A short note each quarter on a structure you designed, the constraint and what you did about it, is the only thing a busy practice has time for.
Can a structural engineering practice market itself without seeming commercial?
Yes, by showing work rather than making claims. A page explaining how you solved a transfer beam on a stilt floor reads as professional to an architect. An advertisement promising the best design does not.
How do we explain our fee to a plot owner comparing a cheaper engineer?
List what each fee includes. Drawings, calculations, site visits at footing, column and slab stages, and the certificate for plan sanction, set side by side, show the owner what the lower fee leaves out.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
