Structural and civil engineers · Local SEO

A secretary with a cracked slab looks for somebody nearby.

Local search puts a structural practice in front of the two buyers who want an engineer close by: a committee needing an audit and a plot owner needing sanction drawings. GullySales completes the Business Profile, gets the categories right, and writes pages for the parts of the city you cover.

A market cross in a small town square: a stepped stone cross of four worn tiers standing in a ring of cobbles, a coil of stall rope left on the bottom step, a chalk pitch marked out on the stones and a chalk arrow pointing in from the nearest lane

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For structural and civil engineers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Testing labs hold the listings that should be yours

Search for a structural audit in most cities and the results are material testing agencies. A design practice with a complete listing can sit above them.

  • The category decides which searches you appear in

Structural engineer, civil engineering consultancy and structural audit are separate things in a buyer's mind, so the profile has to choose and then list the rest.

  • Committees search the locality, not the city

An audit means several visits, so a secretary wants an engineer who can reach the block twice in a week without crossing the city.

What we do

What we deliver for structural and civil engineers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A Business Profile with the right primary category

The work you want more of set as primary, with audits, retrofitting and sanction drawings listed underneath, and hours that match who answers.

Result: You appear in the searches that bring appointments.

  2. Pages for the parts of the city you cover

A page per zone or corridor naming the kind of buildings there, their age and the work those buildings typically need.

Result: Committees beyond the reach of your pin still find you.

  3. Photographs of site work and testing

Pictures of an inspection in progress, rebound hammer and core testing, and a completed structure, added to the profile on a routine.

Result: A secretary sees an engineer who actually visits buildings.

  4. Reviews asked after audits and completions

A request made at the natural moment, once a report is accepted or a building is handed over, with the wording prepared.

Result: The listing carries recent proof.

  5. Audit questions answered on the profile

What an audit involves, how long it takes and what a committee has to arrange, answered in the profile's question section.

Result: Committees arrive at the call already briefed.

  6. A monthly Maps report

Calls, direction requests and clicks from the profile, split between audit and design enquiries, against the audit baseline.

Result: You can tell what the listing is producing.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for structural and civil engineers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where your appointments come from, how dependent you are on a few architects, and how many proposals turn into work.

  2. 2

    Fix the proposal follow-up

A standard fee proposal that explains scope, and a follow-up tracker for every proposal sent.

  3. 3

    Make the work visible

A project record by building type, a sample audit report and site inspection notes for owners.

  4. 4

    Widen the sources

Architect and builder outreach, local search for house owners and audits, and industrial shed outreach.

  5. 5

    Keep the specifiers

Regular contact with every architect and builder who has sent work, and a thank-you and project summary when a building completes.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we want our office address public?
Yes, if clients ever visit. A practice with no verifiable address loses committee enquiries, because a secretary about to recommend a spend of several lakhs wants to see a real office behind the name.
Which categories should we choose?
The work you want more of as primary, usually structural engineer, with civil engineering consultancy, audits and testing listed as services underneath. A vague choice keeps you out of the audit searches entirely.
Can a structural engineering practice market itself without seeming commercial?
Yes, by showing work rather than making claims. A page explaining how you solved a transfer beam on a stilt floor reads as professional to an architect. An advertisement promising the best design does not.
How do we explain our fee to a plot owner comparing a cheaper engineer?
List what each fee includes. Drawings, calculations, site visits at footing, column and slab stages, and the certificate for plan sanction, set side by side, show the owner what the lower fee leaves out.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
