Tax consulting firms · Content marketing

Explain the form and the date, and leave the ledger for the engagement.

Content for a tax firm is the plain explanation an owner cannot get anywhere else: what a form asks, when it is due, what happens if it is late. GullySales builds that library around the compliance calendar, keeps each piece dated and revisited, and sends everything to your partner first.

A newsstand under a striped awning: three tiers of folded publications racked spine on, one title on the top tier turned to face the street, and a crate of rolled copies at the foot of the stand

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the free audit onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For tax consulting firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Write for the owner, not for the profession

A piece reading like a journal article gets shared by other consultants and brings no clients. Your reader runs a shop, not a practice.

  • A checklist is the thing people keep

The list of documents needed for a filing gets printed and stuck on a wall, and your name sits on it all season.

  • An unrevised article becomes a liability

Thresholds and due dates move, and an owner who acted on last year's figure from your site has a grievance with your name attached.

What we do

What we deliver for tax consulting firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A library built on the compliance calendar

One piece per recurring filing and per common notice, published before the season it belongs to rather than during it.

Result: The page exists when the search starts.

  2. Document checklists for each filing

A short list per return and per registration saying exactly what the client has to send, ready to print or forward.

Result: Clients arrive with the papers you asked for.

  3. A dated revisit routine after every change

Each piece carries the date it was checked, with a list of what has to be read again after a budget or a circular.

Result: Nothing on the site is quietly out of date.

  4. Plain explainers for the notices you see most

What the paper means, the reply window and what the department is asking for, without advising on anybody's particular case.

Result: The worried owner has enough to ring you.

  5. A partner review before publishing

Every draft checked for claims, for anything reading as advice on a specific case, and against the rules your firm works under.

Result: Your firm's position holds on every page.

  6. Pieces traced to the enquiries they produced

Monthly reporting of which article brought calls and which brought nothing, measured against the position before the library existed.

Result: You write more of what works.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for tax consulting firms

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how clearly your site addresses real tax situations, how fast enquiries are answered during filing season, and where your referrals actually come from.

  2. 2

    Build trust with problem-led content

Pages addressing GST notices, approaching deadlines and common tax situations in the plain terms an anxious business owner actually searches for.

  3. 3

    Speed up the response

A same-day reply routine, particularly for urgent notice-related enquiries where a fast, clear answer decides who gets hired.

  4. 4

    Bring clients in

Search visibility and referral relationships with bankers, other professionals and satisfied existing clients.

  5. 5

    Keep clients through filing seasons

Deadline reminders sent ahead of time and a review rhythm that catches renewal conversations before a client drifts away.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Who writes it when every partner is buried in July?
We draft from a half-hour conversation in the quiet months, and your partner reads it before it goes up. Nothing gets written in the last fortnight of July, which is why the calendar is built backwards from the deadlines.
Does explaining this for free cost us the work?
It costs you the caller who was never going to pay, which is a good trade. An owner who understands the form still needs somebody to apply it to his books and sign it. That is the engagement.
Do we need to advertise?
Not at first. A page that explains a GST notice reaches the owner who is searching for it today, with no media spend. Paid search helps for a short push, such as the fortnight before the July income tax deadline.
We are chartered accountants. Are we even allowed to market the firm?
Within limits. ICAI's Code of Ethics restricts how a CA in practice can advertise or solicit clients, and ICAI publishes guidelines on what a firm website may carry. We write explanatory pages inside those limits, with no claims of superiority, and your partner checks the copy before it goes live.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
