Tax consulting firms · Search engine optimisation

Be found for the section number printed on the notice.

Search for a tax firm is the business owner typing the section number printed on a notice, or the form he cannot file, at ten at night. GullySales writes a page for each of those situations, keeps them current as circulars change, and puts your partner's review in front of publishing.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For tax consulting firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The search is a form number, not a service

People type what is printed at the top of the paper in front of them, which is a section, a form or a due date.

  • A page written last year can be wrong this year

Rates, due dates and thresholds move with every budget and circular, and an owner who spots a stale figure closes the tab.

  • What you may publish is not the same for every partner

A chartered accountant in practice, an advocate and a registered tax practitioner answer to different bodies, and the certificate at risk is yours.

What we do

What we deliver for tax consulting firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each notice and situation you handle

Separate pages for a demand notice, a mismatch in input tax credit, a defective return and a late filing, written in the owner's words.

Result: The owner holding that paper finds the page about it.

  2. A review date carried on every page

Each page shows when it was last checked, with a routine to revisit it after the budget and after any circular that touches it.

Result: Nothing on the site quietly goes out of date.

  3. Author details shown as your body permits

The partner's name, qualification and membership details on each article, set out in the form your institute or council allows.

Result: A reader can see who stands behind the explanation.

  4. A compliance read before anything goes live

Every page sent to your partner with the claims marked, so superiority wording and outcome promises are caught before publishing rather than after.

Result: Nothing goes up that your firm has not cleared.

  5. City and situation pages for the searches nearby

Pages combining the situation with the areas your clients come from, for owners looking for help within reach of the office.

Result: You show up for the trader two streets away.

  6. Enquiries reported by the situation that brought them

A monthly count split by notice type, filing and advisory work, measured against the position recorded before the pages went up.

Result: You can see which situation is worth writing more about.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for tax consulting firms

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how clearly your site addresses real tax situations, how fast enquiries are answered during filing season, and where your referrals actually come from.

  2. 2

    Build trust with problem-led content

Pages addressing GST notices, approaching deadlines and common tax situations in the plain terms an anxious business owner actually searches for.

  3. 3

    Speed up the response

A same-day reply routine, particularly for urgent notice-related enquiries where a fast, clear answer decides who gets hired.

  4. 4

    Bring clients in

Search visibility and referral relationships with bankers, other professionals and satisfied existing clients.

  5. 5

    Keep clients through filing seasons

Deadline reminders sent ahead of time and a review rhythm that catches renewal conversations before a client drifts away.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Are we allowed to publish articles on our own website?
That depends on the body you are registered with, and the rules on what a professional may say about themselves are revised from time to time. Your partner or the institute settles it. We write explanatory material with no comparative or outcome claims and send it for that check first.
How long before a notice page starts bringing calls?
Months for a crowded situation, weeks for a narrow one such as a specific defective-return notice. The seasons shape it too. A page published in June gets its first real test in July.
Do we need to advertise?
Not at first. A page that explains a GST notice reaches the owner who is searching for it today, with no media spend. Paid search helps for a short push, such as the fortnight before the July income tax deadline.
We are chartered accountants. Are we even allowed to market the firm?
Within limits. ICAI's Code of Ethics restricts how a CA in practice can advertise or solicit clients, and ICAI publishes guidelines on what a firm website may carry. We write explanatory pages inside those limits, with no claims of superiority, and your partner checks the copy before it goes live.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
