Tax consulting firms · Pay per click advertising

Check what your council allows before you spend a rupee on ads.

Paid search for a tax firm is a short, deadline-driven push, and whether your firm may run it at all is a question for your own professional body first. GullySales settles that in writing with your partner, then builds narrow campaigns for the notices and deadlines that actually convert.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend daily against enquiries received.

For tax consulting firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Solicitation is the word this turns on

Rules on advertising by professionals differ by body and get revised, so your firm's position has to be recorded before any money moves.

  • Refund status searches will eat the budget

Half the people typing income tax queries in July want to know where their refund has gone, and none of them are hiring anyone.

  • The convertible fortnight is short

Enquiries cluster in the two weeks before a due date and in the days after a batch of notices goes out. The rest of the year is mostly waste.

What we do

What we deliver for tax consulting firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A written note of what your firm may run

The position agreed with your partner and recorded, covering wording, claims and where adverts may appear, before a campaign is switched on.

Result: Nobody is guessing about the rules mid-campaign.

  2. Campaigns kept to the situation and the city

Narrow keyword sets on notice types, specific filings and the areas you serve, instead of broad terms every firm in the country bids on.

Result: Clicks come from people with a problem and a date.

  3. Negatives for refunds, jobs and free filing

Blocks on refund status, portal login trouble, articleship and job searches, coaching courses and the free filing tools crowding this category.

Result: The budget stops answering students and refund chasers.

  4. A landing page that promises no outcome

A page explaining what the firm does about that situation, with no comparative claims and no suggestion of a saving or a result.

Result: The page your partner is willing to sign off.

  5. Calls tracked inside office hours

A separate number per campaign, with the schedule set to when somebody answers and the calls that rang out counted each week.

Result: You find out how many paid calls nobody took.

  6. Spend read against engagements signed

Monthly cost per enquiry and per signed engagement by situation, set beside the figures from before the first campaign ran.

Result: You can stop the campaigns that only bring questions.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for tax consulting firms

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how clearly your site addresses real tax situations, how fast enquiries are answered during filing season, and where your referrals actually come from.

  2. 2

    Build trust with problem-led content

Pages addressing GST notices, approaching deadlines and common tax situations in the plain terms an anxious business owner actually searches for.

  3. 3

    Speed up the response

A same-day reply routine, particularly for urgent notice-related enquiries where a fast, clear answer decides who gets hired.

  4. 4

    Bring clients in

Search visibility and referral relationships with bankers, other professionals and satisfied existing clients.

  5. 5

    Keep clients through filing seasons

Deadline reminders sent ahead of time and a review rhythm that catches renewal conversations before a client drifts away.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can a chartered accountancy firm run Google Ads at all?
Your institute's code and its guidance on advertising decide that, and both get revised. The certificate of practice is yours, so the answer comes from your partner or from the institute, not from us. We build only what the firm has cleared in writing.
Is paid search worth it outside filing season?
Rarely. The enquiries that convert are tied to a due date or a notice, so the money works hardest in short bursts. A firm running adverts all year usually pays for reading rather than for calls.
Do we need to advertise?
Not at first. A page that explains a GST notice reaches the owner who is searching for it today, with no media spend. Paid search helps for a short push, such as the fortnight before the July income tax deadline.
We are chartered accountants. Are we even allowed to market the firm?
Within limits. ICAI's Code of Ethics restricts how a CA in practice can advertise or solicit clients, and ICAI publishes guidelines on what a firm website may carry. We write explanatory pages inside those limits, with no claims of superiority, and your partner checks the copy before it goes live.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
