Computer and mobile repair shops · Buyer journey

Know what a person does between the crack in the screen and the repair paid for.

The buyer journey for a computer or mobile repair shop is the path from a broken device to a paid repair and a return visit. It is short, urgent and local, and it passes through a map, a message and a counter. GullySales maps it with you and shows where the shop is lost.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer journey means

The buyer journey is the sequence of steps a customer actually takes, from first hearing about you to deciding to buy, which is rarely a single visit or call. GullySales maps this sequence for your business and checks that something useful happens at each step instead of only at the final call.

For computer and mobile repair shops

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The shop is invisible at the moment of need”

The person's phone dies and he opens the map. If the shop is not there with the right category, he never reaches the counter.

  • “The counter does not hold the sale”

He arrives, gets a vague quote and a hint of a delay, and walks to the next shop. Nobody asked what he needed.

  • “The journey ends at the bill”

After the repair the shop has no way to reach him again. A battery change in a year goes to whoever he finds first.

What we do

What we deliver for computer and mobile repair shops.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Journey map for your customers

A one-page map of the stages a customer goes through, drawn from your own job cards and counter notes.

Result: You see where customers are lost.

  2. Counter checklist

A short list of the questions and statements at the counter that move a visit to a repair.

Result: The first minute at the counter holds the customer.

  3. Estimate and warranty sheet

A written estimate with parts, labour and warranty before work starts.

Result: The customer decides with clear facts.

  4. Drop-out note

A field on the job card for visits and calls that did not become a repair, with the reason.

Result: You find where customers leave.

  5. After-the-sale routine

A message after collection and a note of the next likely visit.

Result: The customer remembers the shop.

How the result is measured

  • Drop-off rate by step
  • Time from first contact to sale
  • Steps with no content

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Stages of this buyer's journey

What a repair customer does and asks at each stage, and what the shop should have ready.

Notices the fault
The phone does not charge, the laptop is slow or the screen cracks. He tries a charger, a restart or a friend. The shop should have a plain page on common faults for these first searches.
Searches and shortlists
He searches on the phone or the map for a shop nearby and looks at the rating, the photographs and the timings. Have a complete profile, a recent review and a call button.
Compares
He rings two or three shops and asks the price for his model. Reply fast, ask for the model and the fault and give a range with what it depends on.
Visits or calls
He walks in or books a pickup. The counter should greet him, look at the device with him and write an estimate. Say what is covered by the warranty.
Decides
He weighs price, time and whether he trusts the shop with his data. Give a clear time, a warranty on the part and a line on how his data is treated.
After the sale
He collects the device and might leave a review or send a friend. Message after collection, ask for a review and note when a battery or service may be due.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer journey work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the sales process

We walk through how a sale actually happens today, from the person who first answers an enquiry to the one who closes it.

  2. 2

    Audit the data

Website analytics, call logs and CRM records are pulled together to see where people actually drop out, not where they are assumed to.

  3. 3

    Interview buyers and staff

A handful of recent customers and the team who speak to them fill in the reasons behind the numbers.

  4. 4

    Build the map

Stages, touchpoints and drop-off points are set out in one document everyone can read the same way.

  5. 5

    Fix and measure

Each fix is implemented against the stage it addresses, and the drop-off rate at that stage is checked afterwards.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How long does the decision take?
For a broken phone, the decision is fast, often the same hour, because the person needs the device. For a laptop or a data recovery job, he may compare for a day or two. Watch your own job cards.
Who else is involved in the decision?
A parent who pays for a child's phone, an office manager for a company laptop or a friend who recommends a shop. Ask who will pay and who will collect, and write to that person.
What about buyers who go quiet after a quote?
Message once the next day and once more before the quote lapses, and ask what is holding them. Many have found a cheaper offer. Note the reason, and leave them if they say no.
How do I find where customers drop out from my own records?
Count enquiries, visits, devices accepted and repairs collected from your job cards and WhatsApp chats. The step with the biggest fall is where to look. Add a drop-out reason for each person who left.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
