Engineering R&D and embedded systems service companies · Website

Show the capability, the process and the controls a supplier assessor looks for.

A website for an engineering services firm is where an R&D head, a quality team and a procurement team check capability, process and company standing. GullySales plans the structure and the proof each page carries.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For engineering R&D and embedded systems service companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The site is a list of technologies”

Chip names and languages do not show how a project runs. Buyers need method, team and controls. Describe how a project runs from requirements to handover, who leads, which reviews take place and what the client receives, not just the chips supported.

  • “Quality and security pages are missing”

Assessors look for the process, the practices for data and IP, and the standards held. If absent, they ask by email and the first screen slows. A page on information security, access to client repositories, laptop and lab controls and IP ownership answers what the assessor would otherwise ask by email.

  • “Team members are hidden”

Buyers hire engineers. Profiles of leads with domains and experience reduce fear. A profile for each lead engineer, with domains, tools and the kind of products shipped, lets a buyer picture the person on the call.

  • “The site is slow and unreadable on a phone”

A founder opens the link on a phone. A page that fails there loses the visit. Test the contact form, the capability pages and the PDFs on a mid-range phone, since a founder opens the first link there.

What we do

What we deliver for engineering R&D and embedded systems service companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Service and domain pages

Pages for each service and each domain, linked from the home page.

Result: A visitor reaches the right page.

  2. A process and controls page

How projects run, reviewed and handed over, with data and IP practice described.

Result: Assessors find answers at once.

  3. Standards held

A page listing certificates the firm holds, in the issuing body's wording, with scope.

    Result: Claims can be verified.

  4. Team page

Profiles of leads with domains, tools and experience.

Result: Buyers see who would do the work.

  5. Enquiry routes with source tracking

A form, email link and call button that record the page of origin.

Result: Enquiries are traced to pages.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we show lab photos?
Yes, if they show equipment and setups used in client work, with no client material visible. Show the bench, the instruments and the test jigs the firm uses, and crop or blur any screen, label or document that belongs to a client.
How do we show standards?
Only those held, with the certificate body and scope. Check the wording with your own adviser. Name the standard, the certifying body, the scope and the validity as written on the certificate, and check the wording with your own adviser before publishing.
Do we need a client portal?
Not on the public site. Use secure tools agreed with each client for project files. Share project files through the secure tools agreed with each client, such as an access-controlled repository, and keep the public site for introductions and proof.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
