GIS and geospatial service companies · Digital marketing

Spend where a municipal engineer or a utility project head searches for a mapping partner.

Digital marketing for a geospatial firm combines search, LinkedIn, email and the website to reach officers, contractors and private buyers. GullySales sets the plan by buyer, the tracking and the order in which channels are added.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For GIS and geospatial service companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Public and private buyers differ”

A department seldom responds to an ad, and finds firms through visits, notices and contractors. A private buyer responds to search. Spending on one as if it were the other wastes budget. Tag each lead as department, contractor or private so the first month's spend can be read against the right buyer.

  • “Search ads need job pages”

An ad on drone survey for property should land on a page about that job with a sample. A home page loses the click.

  • “Tracking separates tender from private enquiries”

Enquiries should be tagged by buyer type so the firm can see which channel brings which.

  • “LinkedIn reaches contractors and planners”

Professionals in civil, urban and utilities work use LinkedIn. Targeting by role gives the firm a presence where bids are formed.

What we do

What we deliver for GIS and geospatial service companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Channel plan by buyer

A plan assigning search, LinkedIn, events and referrals to each buyer type.

    Result: Spend follows the buyer.

  2. Job landing pages

Pages for each service with a sample and an enquiry form.

Result: Ads land on a page that matches.

  3. Tracking

Tracking of form fills, calls and WhatsApp clicks by source and buyer type.

Result: The owner sees which channel brought which enquiry.

  4. Search campaigns

Ads on specific job searches, set against the platform's current rules.

Result: Campaigns have a clear goal.

  5. LinkedIn presence

Posts and role-targeted ads for planners, engineers and contractors.

Result: The firm is visible to bid shapers.

  6. Review sheet

A comparison of channels by enquiries and bids, with decisions to add or cut.

Result: Spend decisions rest on a record.

  7. Sector pages for utilities and agriculture

Pages that describe the mapping job for a water board, a power distribution company or a crop survey, with a sample for that sector and the format the buyer receives.

Result: A utility engineer lands on a page about utilities.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What budget do we need?
No fixed figure applies. A small test aimed at one job, one sector and one region teaches enough, such as drone survey for property in one city. GullySales sets the test and the review before more spend, and a department buyer may need none.
Will digital work for government buyers?
It supports visibility, but visits, notices and contractors bring the work. Digital helps officers and engineers who look you up after a meeting. A small web sample built from the firm's own data also gives a mapping officer something to try before the meeting.
How do we measure success?
By enquiries by buyer type, samples sent and bids made, not by clicks. The tracking makes these visible.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
