HRMS providers · Digital marketing

Put search, content, email and outreach to work on one aim, a booked demo.

Digital marketing for an HRMS provider is the combined set of search, content, paid ads, email and chat that moves an HR buyer from a payroll problem to a booked demo. GullySales joins these into one plan where each channel has a job and a way to be measured.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For HRMS providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Channels get judged on the wrong number”

Clicks and impressions please a dashboard, but a payroll product lives on demos that include finance and trials that run a test payroll. Measure each channel against those, or the best-looking channel will take the budget.

  • “Paid spend needs a narrow aim”

Broad terms such as HR software bring students, job seekers and curious readers. Ads aimed at a headcount, a workforce type and a job title spend less on the wrong people, though the platform's current targeting options should be checked.

  • “Email suits the long decision”

A deal that takes a quarter needs sensible contact between meetings. A short note with a useful checklist, sent to people who asked for it, keeps your name in front of the buyer without pressure.

  • “The website sits under everything”

Every channel sends people to the same pages. If the pages are slow on a phone or do not answer the state question, all the spend elsewhere is wasted at the last step.

What we do

What we deliver for HRMS providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan with jobs

Which channel finds buyers, which educates, which converts and which brings back stalled trials.

Result: A one-page plan that gives each channel one job.

  2. Search and ad structure

Campaigns grouped by company size and workforce, with negative terms for job seekers.

Result: Ad groups that mirror your buyer pages.

  3. An email programme

A welcome note, a trial series and a nurture set for people who asked for information.

Result: A set of emails with the trigger for each.

  4. Tracking and reports

Source tagging from first click to paid account, with demos that included finance flagged.

Result: A report showing demos, trials and paid accounts by source.

  5. A test list

Headline, offer and page tests ranked by how much they could teach you.

Result: A short list of tests, run one at a time.

  6. A spend and ownership note

Who approves ad spend, who owns each channel and what is reviewed before more money goes in.

Result: A written rule so spend does not drift.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Where do we start if the budget is small?
With the pages and the enquiry log, then the one channel that already brings demos. Spreading a small spend over five channels tells you nothing. Add the next channel only when the first is being read properly.
Is digital marketing enough, or do we need field sales?
For a factory or multi-branch buyer, a visit to the plant helps close the deal. Digital marketing finds and warms the company; a person in the room still matters for larger rollouts.
How do we judge an agency's report?
Ask which demos and paid accounts came from each channel. If a report stops at clicks and reach, request the source-tagged enquiry numbers. GullySales shows the log behind every claim we make.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
