Computer and mobile repair shops · Search engine optimisation

Be the shop that comes up when someone types the model, the fault and the area.

SEO for a computer or mobile repair shop is the work of making your shop appear when a person searches for a repair by phone model, fault and place. Most searches are specific, such as iPhone 13 screen replacement in Jayanagar. GullySales builds a page for each repair and area, and records which search brought each walk-in or call.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For computer and mobile repair shops

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “People search the fault, not the shop”

A cracked screen, a laptop that will not charge or a water-damaged phone is typed with the model. A site with one Services page answers none of those searches.

  • “Repair types sit in a single list”

Screen, battery, motherboard, data recovery and software work are different jobs with different buyers. A list of fifteen items on one page is found for none of them.

  • “Price and time are missing from the page”

A person wants to know roughly what a repair involves before they walk in. Pages that say call for price lose people who read the next shop's page.

What we do

What we deliver for computer and mobile repair shops.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page per repair and device

Screen replacement, battery change, charging port repair, laptop keyboard and data recovery, each by common model and brand.

Result: A person searching a fault lands on the page for it.

  2. Pages for the areas you serve

A page for each locality, with the nearest landmark, the shop timings and whether you offer pickup and drop.

Result: A person nearby sees the shop is close.

  3. Honest price and time guidance

A page stating what decides the cost of a repair, such as the part and the model, and the checks you do before quoting.

Result: A visitor knows what to expect before they walk in.

  4. Photographs of the real bench and shop

Pictures of your counter, your bench and a handled repair, with the customer's permission where a device is shown.

Result: A new customer sees that the shop is real.

  5. Tracked calls and messages

A tracked number and a WhatsApp link that note which page the enquiry came from.

Result: You see which repair page brings customers.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a person types when a phone or laptop breaks, and the page that answers it.

[phone model] screen replacement near me
A repair page for that model. State the screen type options you stock, how long a replacement takes in the shop, what warranty you give and when the customer can wait.
laptop not charging or not switching on repair
A fault page. List what you check first, such as the adapter and the port, and what the customer should bring, such as the charger.
water damage mobile repair
A fault page. Explain what to do before bringing the phone, such as switching it off, and what you can and cannot promise about recovery.
data recovery from a laptop or a phone
A service page. Say what you can attempt, how the customer's data is handled and kept private, and the form on which a quote is given.
computer AMC for small offices
A business page. Describe what a service contract covers, how many systems and how a call is logged. Ask for office size and location.
[shop name] address or opening time
A contact page with the map pin, timings, holidays and a WhatsApp link. Keep the details matching your Business Profile.

Who it is for

This is written for these computer and mobile repair shops.

  • Mobile phone repair shops
  • Laptop and desktop repair shops
  • Chip-level and motherboard specialists
  • Data recovery services
  • Computer AMC providers for offices
  • Mobile accessory and repair shops
  • Apple and premium device repairers
  • Repair kiosks in malls and markets

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You do not yet know which repairs bring most of your profit, so pages for every fault would spread your effort thin.
  • Nobody at the counter will take a call from a searcher, and a new page would only add missed calls.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At an interval agreed in writing we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should I make a page for every phone model?
Make pages for the models you repair most and the faults that bring most calls. A page for every model gets thin and repetitive. Group very similar models on one page and say which ones.
Do I need a blog?
A handful of pages that answer real questions, such as what to do after a phone falls in water, are useful. A blog posted for the sake of it is not. Write only what your counter staff are asked.
Can I copy the repair descriptions of a bigger chain?
Do not. Copied text may hurt your ranking and your name, and it will not match what your own shop offers. Describe your own repairs, parts and warranty in your own words.
Who should own the site?
You should, in the shop's or the company's name. A friend or freelancer who registers the domain in their own name can take it away. Keep the login and make sure the renewal goes to you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
