Computer and mobile repair shops · Reputation management

Reply to the review that says the phone came back worse, and keep the one that says it was fixed.

Reputation management for a computer or mobile repair shop is the work of reading every review, answering it in the reviewer's language and fixing what caused it. A repair is a purchase of trust, and a bad review costs walk-ins. GullySales sets up the reply routine and the way to ask honestly.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For computer and mobile repair shops

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Reviews are about price and time, not skill”

Customers complain that the quote changed or the phone was ready late. Shops that reply only to the angry ones miss the pattern.

  • “Data and privacy worries appear in reviews”

A customer who left a phone worries about the photographs. A reply that is silent on this confirms that fear.

  • “A rival leaves a fake review”

A nearby shop posts a one-star review with no detail. Without a calm reply, the owner either ignores it or argues in public.

What we do

What we deliver for computer and mobile repair shops.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Review reply routine

A simple rule for who replies, in which language and what the reply says.

Result: Every review gets a human answer.

  2. Complaint reasons log

A note of each complaint's cause, such as a delayed part or an unclear quote, with the fix.

Result: The shop fixes what keeps recurring.

  3. Honest ask routine

A way to ask every customer after a repair, by message or a QR code at the counter, without selecting who is asked.

Result: Reviews come from real customers, not only the happy few.

  4. Fake review reporting

A process to flag a review that is clearly false to the platform with the details.

Result: A false review is reported correctly.

  5. Staff note on talking about data

A short counter script about how customer data is treated during a repair.

Result: The privacy worry is answered before it becomes a review.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to do with each review

The kinds of review a repair shop gets, how to reply and what to fix inside.

Praise for a quick or clean repair
Thank the customer by name, mention the device if they did and invite them back. Do not copy the same reply to every review.
The quote changed at the counter
Reply with the facts and an apology for any confusion. Inside, give a written estimate with the parts and the labour before work starts.
The repair did not last
Invite the customer to bring the device and say what warranty applies. Inside, check the part used and the warranty terms on the bill.
Worry about photographs or messages
Reply that customer data is not opened without permission, and say what the shop does. Put the same rule in writing at the counter.
A review that seems fake or from a rival
Reply calmly, say you cannot find the job and invite the customer to contact the shop. Report the review to the platform. Never promise removal.
A review in Kannada, Hindi or Tamil
Reply in the same language where you can. A customer who writes in their own language values the same in return. Never offer a reward for a review.

Who it is for

This is written for these computer and mobile repair shops.

  • Mobile phone repair shops
  • Laptop and desktop repair shops
  • Chip-level and motherboard specialists
  • Data recovery services
  • Computer AMC providers for offices
  • Mobile accessory and repair shops
  • Apple and premium device repairers
  • Repair kiosks in malls and markets

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Repairs are being returned with the same fault, and better replies would not fix what the reviews describe.
  • Nobody in the shop will read and answer reviews, so asking for more of them would only grow an unanswered pile.

How it works

How the reputation management work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Search your name as a stranger would

We search the business, its main product names and the owner's name, on a phone and a laptop, and record what appears.

  2. 2

    Catalogue every mention

Reviews, news, listings, social posts and forum threads are sorted into accurate and positive, accurate and negative, and wrong. Each group gets a different action.

  3. 3

Agree the replies and the owner of each

Replies are drafted and approved by you. Anything involving a refund, a clinical matter, a legal claim or a named employee goes to the right person in your business before anything is posted.

  4. 4

    Fix what you control

Listings, profile details and your own pages are corrected, and pages worth ranking for your name are strengthened with accurate information.

  5. 5

    Monitor and report

The agreed places are checked on the agreed schedule. The name search is repeated and compared with the first record.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales management. A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3 · you are here

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

May I ask customers for reviews?
Yes, within the platform's current rules. Ask every customer, in person or by message, and never pay for a review or choose to ask only happy ones. Check Google's current rules on review requests.
Should I reply in the reviewer's language?
Yes. Reply in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil or English as the reviewer wrote. If nobody in the shop writes it well, ask a friend or a staff member to check before posting.
A review names my technician. What do I do?
Thank or apologise as the review requires and talk to the technician privately. Do not make staff public in your reply, and do not argue in public about a person.
Can I get a bad review removed?
Only if it breaks the platform's rules, and nobody can promise it. Reply in a calm and factual manner, fix what caused it and keep asking every customer, so the bad review is one among many.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
