Display advertising · Marketing

Put your name in front of the buyer before they search, and again after they leave.

Search ads reach someone who is already looking. Display ads reach the person who has not started looking yet, or looked last week and forgot you. It is the cheaper click and the weaker click, and a campaign that pretends otherwise wastes money.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

A marketer reviewing digital display advertising creative

In one paragraph

Display advertising shows banner and image ads on websites, apps and YouTube through the Google Display Network and similar networks. GullySales picks the audiences, designs the creative, controls where ads appear and traces the enquiries that follow back to the campaign.

Most of that waste comes from three places: ads shown on game apps and junk sites, one banner shown to everyone, and no check on whether anyone enquired. We block the placements, split the audiences and count enquiries, not clicks.

For example, a modular kitchen showroom in Bengaluru can show its ads only to people in the right pin codes who have been on its gallery pages. A banner shown across all India would reach the same people and thousands who cannot buy.

The problem

Does this sound like your business?

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • “We ran banners and got clicks but no calls”

Clicks from an accidental tap on a mobile game are counted the same as a real visit. Without placement controls and an enquiry count, the report looks fine and the phone is quiet.

  • “Our ads show up on sites we would be embarrassed by”

Display networks place ads automatically. Brand-safety settings and exclusion lists decide whether your name sits beside news, children's apps or worse.

  • “We have one banner and it has been running for a year”

Creative wears out. The same image shown to the same people stops being seen, and costs rise.

  • “Nobody knows if display is working”

Display rarely gets the last click. Judging it by last-click reports undervalues it, and judging it by impressions flatters it.

What we do

Everything that is included.

Each deliverable, and what it gets you. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Audience plan

Location, interest, in-market and your own visitor lists, written down so you can see who is being targeted and why.

  2. Creative set

Banners in the sizes the network accepts, in English and the local language where your buyers read it, each with one clear action.

  3. Placement and brand-safety controls

Exclusion lists for apps, sites and topics, and a check of where the ads actually appeared.

  4. Remarketing lists

Past website visitors grouped by the pages they viewed, so the ad matches what they looked at.

  5. Landing page match

The page behind each ad reviewed so the promise in the banner is the first thing the visitor sees.

  6. Conversion tracking

Calls, WhatsApp taps and form submissions recorded against the campaign that produced them.

  7. Creative rotation

New versions swapped in as older ones tire, with the reason noted.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries traced to display campaigns
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Share of spend on blocked or low-quality placements
  • Return visits from remarketing lists
  • Conversion by creative version

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for you if these sound familiar.

  • Real estate developers launching a project and needing wide awareness in a defined area
  • Hotels, resorts and travel businesses that sell on seasons and want to be seen early
  • Coaching centres and colleges before admission season
  • Stores and showrooms that want visitors from the website pulled back
  • Online brands with a catalogue large enough for product ads

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries this week and have a small budget. Search ads or Google Business Profile will serve you better, and we will say so.
  • You have no website or landing page yet. Display sends people to a page, and the page has to be ready first.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the display advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Set the aim

We agree whether the campaign builds awareness, brings back visitors or pushes a launch, because each is judged differently.

  2. 2

    Build audiences and exclusions

We choose who sees the ads and who never does, including the sites to block.

  3. 3

    Design and test creative

Several banners run against each other until one clearly earns more enquiries.

  4. 4

    Launch with tracking

Every call and form is tied to the campaign before the first rupee is spent.

  5. 5

    Read and adjust

We review placements, audiences and creative against enquiries and cost per enquiry, and cut what does not earn.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is display advertising worth it for a small business?
Sometimes. It works for launches, seasons and bringing back website visitors. For a business that needs calls this week, search ads usually come first, and we will tell you if display would only waste your media spend.
What is the Google Display Network?
It is Google's network of websites, apps and YouTube where your image ads can appear. You choose the audience and Google places the ad where that audience is browsing.
How do you stop ads appearing on poor sites?
We set exclusion lists for sites, apps and topics, review the placement report and remove anything that does not suit your brand. The review repeats while the campaign runs.
Do you handle the ad spend?
The media spend is paid by you directly to the network. Our fee is quoted separately in writing, as is any creative production, so you can see each cost.
Can display ads show in Kannada or Hindi?
Yes. Banners are written in the language your buyers read, and audiences can be set by language. We use the language that fits the town.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
