Entity optimisation and knowledge panel · Marketing

Make search engines and AI answers recognise your business as one clear entity.

Search engines and AI answers do not read a business the way a buyer does. They gather facts from many places and decide whether those facts describe one organisation or several. When the name is spelt three ways and the address differs on every listing, the business can be missed or mixed up with another.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

A search specialist reviewing business locations and profile information

In one paragraph

Entity optimisation and knowledge panel work covers how a business is described across its website, profiles and structured data, so Google and AI answers can tell who it is. Scope is agreed in writing, and no knowledge panel is promised.

Entity optimisation is the work of making those facts agree: one name, one set of details, one clear description, repeated the same way on your website, your profiles and the structured data behind your pages. A knowledge panel is the information box Google may show for a business. Google decides whether to show one, and nobody can promise it.

We start with the requirements brief: who the business is, which names and details are in use, and where it is described today. Scope and fee are agreed in writing after that brief.

The problem

Does this sound like your business?

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • “The business is described differently on every site”

Variations in name, address and description leave a search engine unsure whether it is looking at one business or several.

  • “Search for the brand name shows other people or other firms”

Without clear signals, results for your name can go to a similarly named business, a directory or an old listing.

  • “The website says little a machine can read”

Without structured data and a clear about page, facts that a person sees at a glance are hard for a search engine to confirm.

What we do

Everything that is included.

Each deliverable, and what it gets you. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Entity requirements brief

The legal name, trading names, people, locations and links that define the business, written down before any change is made.

  2. Name and detail consistency review

A check of how the business is named and described across its website, listings and profiles, with a list of differences to correct.

  3. Structured data markup

Organisation, person and location markup added to the website to match the agreed details, written to the search engine's current guidance.

  4. About page and profile alignment

A clear about page and matching public profiles, so the same description appears wherever the business is introduced.

  5. Knowledge panel claim support

Where a panel already exists, help with the search engine's claim and feedback steps. Check the platform's current rules, because they decide what is possible.

  6. Source and reference clean-up

Old or wrong listings are corrected or flagged, so the facts a search engine meets point the same way.

How the result is measured

  • Name, address, phone and description that match across agreed sources
  • Structured data that validates against the search engine's own testing tools
  • Branded searches that show the business and not a similarly named one
  • Wrong or old listings corrected or logged for follow-up

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for you if these sound familiar.

  • Firms that search for their own name and find no clear business result
  • Businesses whose name, address or phone number differs between listings and profiles
  • Founders and professionals whose personal name and company name are confused with others
  • Companies that have changed name, moved or merged and still see the old details online
  • Teams already working on AI search who want the business itself described consistently

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Owners who want a knowledge panel guaranteed, since the search engine alone decides
  • Businesses with no website or public profiles yet, who need the basic presence built first

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs

  1. 1

    Take the requirements brief

We record the business details, known variations and the profiles and pages that describe it today.

  2. 2

Agree scope and fee in writing

What we will change, what depends on third-party platforms and what it costs are written down after the brief.

  3. 3

    Settle one set of facts

You approve a single name, description and set of details to be used everywhere.

  4. 4

    Apply the changes

The website, markup and profiles are updated to match, and corrections are requested where we do not control the page.

  5. 5

    Check how the business appears

We look at how search and AI answers describe the business and note what still needs attention.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will we get a Google knowledge panel?
We cannot promise one. Google decides whether a panel appears. We make the facts about your business consistent and support the claim steps if a panel exists.
How is this different from AI search optimisation?
AI search work looks at the content and pages that answer questions. Entity work fixes how the business itself is named and described, which AI search then relies on.
Do you control what AI answers say about us?
No. Nobody controls those answers, and we do not promise mentions or citations. We make the sources they draw on accurate and consistent.
Can you fix listings on sites you do not own?
We request corrections and use each site's own process. Whether a change is accepted is the site's decision, so we log what is pending.
What do you need from us?
Your legal and trading names, locations, official links and the description you want used. These come out of the requirements brief.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
