Mobile website experience · Marketing

Make the site work on the phone in your customer's hand, not on the designer's laptop.

Most visitors to a small business site in India arrive on a phone, often a mid-range Android on a patchy connection. A site checked only on a large screen at the office looks fine and loads slowly in the customer's hand.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph

Mobile website experience is the work of making a website quick, readable and easy to act on from a phone, including layout, button size, load speed and tap-to-call. GullySales tests on the mid-range phones your buyers carry and fixes what slows or stops them.

The first fault is usually the thumb. Phone numbers that are not tappable, buttons too small to press and menus that need two hands all cost enquiries. The second is speed, since heavy images and sliders make a page crawl.

We test on real phones, then rebuild the layout around the thumb: the call button, the WhatsApp button and the enquiry form within easy reach on every page.

The problem

Does this sound like your business?

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • “People visit on their phones but never call”

The number is plain text, or the call button sits under three screens of images. A tap-to-call button that stays on screen fixes it quickly.

  • “The site takes forever to load on a normal phone”

Large photos, sliders and chat widgets are fine on office wifi. On a mid-range phone they can cost the visitor before the page appears.

  • “The menu is a mess on a small screen”

Desktop menus squeezed into a phone hide the pages buyers need. The most-used pages need to be one tap away.

  • “The form is too long to fill in on a phone”

Seven fields and a dropdown with 80 cities is a task. Three fields and a WhatsApp option gets answered.

What we do

Everything that is included.

Each deliverable, and what it gets you. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Mobile audit

Your site tested on mid-range Android and iPhone, with a record of what is slow, cramped or broken.

  2. Thumb-reach layout

Calls to action placed where a thumb reaches, with sticky call and WhatsApp buttons on every page.

  3. Tap-to-call and WhatsApp links

Phone numbers and WhatsApp links that open the dialler or chat with the page and product already filled in.

  4. Speed work for slower phones

Images resized, scripts delayed and sliders removed where they cost load time, measured on a mid-range handset.

  5. Mobile navigation

A short menu showing the pages your buyers use first, with search where the catalogue needs it.

  6. Short mobile forms

Fewer fields, the right keyboard for each field and a confirmation that tells the visitor what happens next.

  7. Mobile tracking

Calls, WhatsApp taps and forms recorded separately for phone visitors.

How the result is measured

  • Calls and WhatsApp taps from phone visitors
  • Load time on a mid-range phone
  • Enquiry rate on mobile against desktop
  • Form completion on phones
  • Bounce from phone visitors on key pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for you if these sound familiar.

  • Clinics and hospitals whose patients look for a phone number first
  • Restaurants, salons and services where customers decide on the move
  • Dealers and showrooms who get most of their visits from Google Maps
  • Sites built for desktop years ago and never adjusted
  • Businesses with strong traffic and a weak enquiry rate from phones

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your visitors are almost all on desktop, such as a software company selling to office buyers. Check the analytics before spending.
  • You need an app. A faster mobile site comes first, but it is not an app.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the mobile website experience work runs

  1. 1

Check who is visiting on what

We read your analytics for devices, screen sizes and where phone visitors drop off.

  2. 2

    Test on real phones

We go through your key pages the way a buyer would, on handsets they actually own.

  3. 3

    Redesign for the thumb

Layout, buttons and forms are rebuilt for one-handed use.

  4. 4

    Cut the weight

We remove or shrink whatever slows the page on a mid-range phone.

  5. 5

    Measure phone enquiries

Calls and chats from phones are counted before and after the change.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What does mobile-first mean?
The site is designed for the phone screen first and enlarged for desktop afterwards, instead of the other way round. The phone layout is the main one.
Is a responsive site the same as a good mobile experience?
No. A responsive site shrinks to fit the screen. A good mobile experience also loads quickly, puts the call button in reach and keeps forms short.
Which phones do you test on?
Mid-range Android phones and a recent iPhone, because those are what most buyers hold. Tests run on normal mobile data, not office wifi.
Will this change my design?
The layout changes on phones. Your brand colours, logo and content stay. If a full redesign is the better route, we will say so.
Can you add WhatsApp to my site?
Yes. A button that opens a chat with a message already written, such as the page the visitor was on. The chat opens in the app they already use.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
