Employer branding · Real estate and construction

Site engineers judge you by what happened to the last project's team.

Employer branding for an infrastructure or EPC contractor is what a site engineer finds when the question is whether to move a family three hundred kilometres for a package. GullySales writes the careers page, the project-wise job posts and the employee accounts behind them.

A colliery lamp room seen from the counter: the roller shutter half up over a deep hatch, rows of cap lamps and their batteries hanging on hooks in the recess behind it, a rack of self-rescuers on the wall above, and a check-board of pegs beside the hatch with a single brass tally hanging on it where a lamp has gone out

Where this sits

For infrastructure and EPC companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Your public face is tenders, not people

The website carries client logos, an order book and a photograph of a finished flyover. A billing engineer looking you up finds nothing about who runs a site, how long a posting lasts, or what the camp is like.

  • Hiring comes in bursts and the posts show it

You win a package and need forty people in six weeks. The adverts go up written by whoever was free, each one different. Good candidates read that as a company that has not decided what it wants.

  • Demobilisation is the question nobody answers

An engineer finishing a job wants to know whether he moves to the next site or starts looking around. Your own staff know the answer. Candidates do not, so they assume the worse one.

  • The advert hides where the site is

A post that says PAN India, plus a recruiter who will not name the district, reads as a trap. Naming the location, the camp and the leave cycle loses the people who were never going to come. That is the point.

What we do

What we deliver for infrastructure and EPC companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A careers page written for a site, not a head office

Sections by discipline, planning, quality, survey, safety and billing, with the projects each runs on and the reporting line. Built to open on a phone in a site office with two bars of signal.

Result: A candidate knows before applying whether the job is drawings or dust.

  2. Project-wise job posts

One format, filled in per package: nearest town, accommodation, the roster and leave pattern, the duration, and what happens at handover.

Result: Fewer applicants, and the ones who ring have already accepted the location.

  3. What the engineers who stayed ten years say

Short interviews with people who have been through three sites with you, including the parts they did not enjoy, used with their designation and years.

Result: Proof that people are moved from one package to the next instead of dropped.

  4. Safety, said plainly

Your induction, the permit system and what happens when somebody stops a job, written for a reader rather than for an audit file.

Result: A parent reading it at home stops arguing against the posting.

  5. Campus material for polytechnics and engineering colleges

A one-page note and a talk outline for placement cells in the states you actually recruit from, with a trainee's first two years described honestly.

Result: Placement officers send you people who stay past the first monsoon.

  6. A referral note your site staff will forward

Two paragraphs and a WhatsApp-sized version of the current openings, so a supervisor can send it to a cousin without having to write anything.

Result: Hires who arrive already knowing what the camp looks like.

How the result is measured

  • Applications received per open role
  • Careers page engagement and time on page
  • Candidate drop-off during the interview process
  • Referral hires as a share of total hires

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for infrastructure and EPC companies

  1. 1

    Talk to current employees

We interview a cross-section of staff honestly, including some who might raise uncomfortable points.

  2. 2

Find the genuine reasons to join

We identify what is actually true and attractive about working there, rather than generic claims that could apply anywhere.

  3. 3

    Build the careers content

The careers page, job post templates and employee stories are written from what staff actually said.

  4. 4

    Review the candidate experience

We check what happens between application and offer, since branding cannot fix a process that loses candidates through delay.

  5. 5

    Hand over and refresh periodically

Content is handed over for ongoing use and revisited periodically as the team and roles change.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can you find us forty site engineers before the mobilisation date?
No. We do not recruit, screen or supply anybody, and payroll is nowhere near us. We build the careers page, the post format and the employee accounts, so your HR or your consultant is arguing with real material. You will still need a recruiter for the numbers.
Our sites are genuinely remote. Will better writing change that?
It will not, and it should not. Honest writing about the district, the camp and the leave cycle filters out people who would have left in month two. If the accommodation is poor, repair the accommodation first, because whoever arrives and finds otherwise tells the next twenty.
What does this cost and how long before anything shows?
Scope comes out of a free 45-minute audit call, and the fee is put in writing afterwards, split between our time, any spend on advertising the roles, and production. We write down what applications look like now, so the first monthly report has something honest to sit against.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
