Auto repair shops · Marketing strategy

Spend on the drivers already in your book before spending on the ones who are not.

Marketing strategy for a garage is the split of money between winning a driver from the few kilometres around you, bringing back the cars you have already serviced, and the insurance and fleet work that is won by a relationship instead. GullySales decides that split from your own job cards.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What marketing strategy means

Marketing strategy is the plan for which channels to use, in what order and with what budget. This way, marketing spend is aimed at a goal instead of tried one channel at a time. GullySales sets this plan after the free audit, based on where your buyers actually search and decide.

For auto repair shops

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Your catchment is not the same for an oil change and an engine job”

Nobody drives eleven kilometres for a periodic service. A driver will cross the city for denting and painting he trusts, so spending over one radius for both wastes half the money.

  • “The service interval is your marketing calendar”

Every car you have touched comes due again at a known reading or a known month. A garage with a job card book is sitting on the cheapest marketing it will ever have and sends nothing.

  • “Insurance and fleet work is won in an office”

A surveyor, a dealer's service advisor or a company's admin head decides where a claim or twenty vehicles go. No advertisement reaches them and no number of reviews replaces somebody turning up.

What we do

What we deliver for auto repair shops.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Your real catchment measured off the job cards

Where last year's customers actually came from, plotted by the job they came for, so the radius for a service reminder and the radius for denting work are set apart.

Result: You stop advertising an oil change to a driver who will never come.

  2. The budget split between the returning driver and the new one

How much goes on reminders and follow-ups for cars already in the book, and how much on being found by somebody who has never heard of the garage.

Result: The cheaper half of the business stops being the ignored half.

  3. A service-due calendar built from the book

Every vehicle listed against the month or the reading when it is next due, so the year's outreach comes out of your records instead of out of a campaign idea.

Result: The reminders write themselves out of the job cards.

  4. An insurance and fleet approach with names on it

The surveyors, dealer service advisors and company admin heads who decide where vehicles go, listed with who from your side is going to sit in front of them.

Result: The work no advertisement reaches finally has somebody working on it.

  5. One job picked to advertise properly

The work with a bill and a travel distance worth paying for, usually denting and painting or an engine issue, given the advertising money instead of spreading it thin.

Result: The spend goes where a driver actually compares garages.

  6. Spend read against jobs, not calls

Advertising money and reminder effort set against jobs booked, cars that came back and the average bill, against the baseline recorded before work started.

Result: You can see which half of the budget brought cars into the bay.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries against target
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Channel contribution to revenue

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. 01 · First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. 06 · At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for auto repair shops

  1. 1

We look at your Google Maps ranking, your reply time on calls and WhatsApp, your reviews, and how service reminders are currently handled, if at all.

  2. 2

Fix the profile and the reply

Google Business Profile completed with every service you offer, a fast reply routine, and a record of every enquiry.

  3. 3

    Build trust before the visit

Recent reviews, clear pricing information, and transparency on genuine versus after-market parts.

  4. 4

    Bring vehicles in

Local search, reviews from real customers, and service reminders timed to when a vehicle is actually due.

  5. 5

    Keep the customer

A reminder system for the next service, and a follow-up after a major repair to check everything is running well.

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How do we split the money between new customers and old ones?
Start with the old ones. A reminder to a driver you have already serviced costs a message, and he trusts you already. Put the new-customer money into the Maps listing and the searches inside your real radius. The audit works the split out from your own job cards.
Is denting and painting worth advertising on its own?
Yes, and it is usually the only job that is. The bill is larger, the driver will travel further for it, and he compares two or three garages before deciding. A periodic service gets none of that thought, so it is won on being close and picking up the phone.
How soon would we see more bookings?
Fixing reply time and the Google Business Profile is the quickest to show, because the searches are already happening. Building a stronger review base and repeat-customer reminders takes longer.
Do we need to advertise?
Most garages benefit first from the profile and a faster reply, which cost nothing in media. Advertising helps for a specific high-value service such as denting and painting where search volume is real.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
