Car detailing studios · WhatsApp marketing

Answer the photo quote on WhatsApp before another studio does.

WhatsApp marketing for a detailing studio uses the app where car owners already send photos and ask for prices, to quote, book and remind. GullySales sets up WhatsApp Business so replies are consistent and the next maintenance message reaches the owner.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For car detailing studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The customer sends the problem as a picture”

A stained seat, a scratched door or a dull bonnet arrives as a photograph with one line of text. The studio that replies with a clear next step wins, because the owner has already contacted two others.

  • “A personal number loses the thread”

When the supervisor leaves, the chats with customers leave on the same phone. A business number with a catalogue, saved replies and labels keeps the history with the studio, not with one person's handset.

  • “Broadcasts can spoil a good list”

Sending every contact the same festival offer turns attentive customers into people who mute the studio. Messages grouped by service and car type, sent only to people who agreed to hear from you, keep the channel useful.

  • “The booking confirmation reassures”

An owner leaving a car for a coating wants proof that the slot, price and pickup are agreed. A written confirmation with the date, the service and the inclusions prevents later arguments about what was promised.

What we do

What we deliver for car detailing studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile

Name, address, hours, a catalogue of coating, PPF and interior packages, and a greeting that asks for car details and photos.

Result: The first message the owner receives is useful.

  2. Saved replies for common questions

Ready answers on coating process, warranty terms, what to bring and how a booking is confirmed.

Result: Replies are quick to send and the same each time.

  3. Labels for stage and service

Tags such as new, quoted, booked, awaiting photos and coating client, applied as chats progress.

Result: You can find every quote still waiting for an answer.

  4. A consent step for reminders

A simple way to record that the owner agreed to receive maintenance and offer messages.

Result: Reminders go only to people who asked for them.

  5. Maintenance reminder messages

Short approved templates tied to the coating date, with a slot offer, sent through the Business app or its API.

Result: The wash reminder reaches the owner on WhatsApp.

  6. A click-to-chat route from every page

A button on the website, the Maps listing and the Instagram bio that opens a chat with a prefilled line.

Result: Every channel ends in the same conversation.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Use WhatsApp for the photo quote and the messages around a detailing job.

Photo request message
A saved reply asking for four photographs, model and colour, and what the owner wants protected. It avoids the long exchange of questions that loses the enquiry.
Quote message with package and bay slot
Package named, what it includes and the slot offered. Say that the final price is confirmed after inspecting the car, if that is how you work.
Drop-off confirmation
Time, address and what to remove from the car. Attach a link to the condition photographs once taken.
Reveal photographs and care note
The finished car in good light with the care instructions. The owner forwards this to family, which is how studios get the next enquiry.
Maintenance wash reminder
To owners who agreed to messages. Name the car, the coating and the visit due, and offer two slots.

Who it is for

This is written for these car detailing studios.

  • Mobile car detailing services
  • Studio-based detailing centres
  • Ceramic coating and PPF specialists
  • Bike detailing and coating studios
  • Fleet and dealership detailing partners
  • Luxury and exotic car detailing specialists
  • Interior deep cleaning specialists
  • Car wash and quick service outlets

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You use a personal phone shared with the family and cannot keep the studio's chats apart.
  • You plan to message every number you ever collected, though some never agreed to hear from you.
  • No one can answer a photograph during the day, so the chat would be slower than a phone call.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
Not at the start. The Business app covers a catalogue, labels and saved replies for a small studio. The API suits higher volumes and automated reminders, and the platform's current rules and costs should be checked before you commit.
Can we send offers to our whole customer list?
Only to people who agreed to receive them, and with care about how often. Check the platform's current rules on messaging. Grouping the list by service keeps offers relevant.
How do we handle photos with customer details visible?
Ask owners to avoid sending documents in the first chat, and keep registration numbers inside your record rather than in public posts. Blur plates in any photograph you publish unless the owner agrees.
Can we post customer cars with registrations visible?
Not without the owner's permission, and cover the registration even then. A plate in a public post identifies the owner. Ask at handover whether you may post the photographs, and keep the answer in the record.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
