Auto parts and accessories dealers · Email marketing

Send the fleet manager a statement the accounts team can act on.

Email is the smaller channel in this trade and it matters for one group: fleets, transporters and company accounts that need statements, GST invoices and written rates. GullySales builds that list from your own billing records, writes the statement mail, and leaves retail customers where they belong, on WhatsApp.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For auto parts and accessories dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Mechanics do not open email, accounts departments do”

A cab operator's office wants the statement, the invoice copies and the rate list in writing, and will chase you for them.

  • “The statement is the cheapest sales call you make”

It lands on a desk every month with your name on it, and one line at the bottom about tyre stock costs nothing to add.

  • “Your billing software already holds the list”

Every fleet and company account you have invoiced this year is in there, with a contact and a purchase history nobody has looked at.

What we do

What we deliver for auto parts and accessories dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A fleet and company list pulled from your billing

Accounts with contact names, vehicles run, last purchase and credit position, taken from your invoices rather than bought from anyone.

Result: You can see the accounts worth a monthly mail.

  2. A statement mail with one offer under it

Outstanding, invoices for the month and a short note on stock that suits their fleet, sent on the same date as their invoice.

Result: Payment conversations and selling happen in one mail.

  3. A reorder note based on the last purchase

A mail to fleet accounts when a set of tyres or batteries is due by their own usage, with the rate and the fitting slot offered.

Result: The order comes to you before the operator shops around.

  4. A rate circular for wholesale buyers

A periodic circular of ranges and rates for the buyers you supply on trade terms, sent to named contacts rather than posted anywhere public.

Result: Trade buyers have your rates on file.

  5. A list kept clean and permitted

Consent recorded, an unsubscribe in every mail, bounces cleared and contacts updated when a fleet changes its accounts person.

Result: The mail reaches the desk instead of the spam folder.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a parts and tyre dealer needs in place before it emails a fleet or a company.

Billing records as the source of the list
Take fleet owners, transporters and company accounts from GST invoices you have already raised, with the contact in accounts or purchase. Leave retail walk-ins and mechanics off the email list.
GSTIN and billing name on each entry
A statement or rate letter goes to the entity that is invoiced. Keep the GSTIN, billing name and the person who approves payment on every entry, so a rate mail reaches the right desk.
A rate list that carries a date and a validity line
Send a dated PDF with brand, size, price and the day the rates stop applying. A photo of a handwritten sheet cannot be filed by an accounts team and is easily disputed later.
Credit terms recorded before any statement goes out
Note each account's agreed credit period and limit in your records. A statement mail that quotes terms nobody wrote down turns into an argument about what was agreed.
A sender who can answer a rate query
Mail from the counter manager or accounts person, not from the shop's general address. When a transporter replies about a tyre price, someone with authority to quote must see it.
An opt-out, and a line to update the contact
Fleet staff change. Add a line asking the reader to tell you the right accounts contact, and drop anyone who unsubscribes so you do not mail a person who left.

Who it is for

This is written for these auto parts and accessories dealers.

  • Multi-brand spare parts dealers serving garages
  • Authorised parts distributors for a vehicle manufacturer
  • Two-wheeler spare parts shops
  • Tyre dealers and tyre showrooms for major brands
  • Tyre, alignment and wheel care centres
  • Car accessories and fitment shops
  • Commercial vehicle parts and tyre suppliers
  • Battery, lubricant and filter dealers
  • Online-first auto parts sellers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The dealer does not hold an accounts contact for any fleet or company customer, so a statement would be sent to a general inbox nobody reads.
  • Fleet and company accounts are not invoiced from a single record, so an emailed statement would disagree with the counter's own books.

How it works

How the email marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your list

We review who is on the list, how they got there, what they agreed to, and how long since they last heard from you.

  2. 2

    Audit past sends

We read past campaign reports, your sending domain settings and any spam complaints to see what has and has not worked.

  3. 3

    Segment and plan

The list is split into groups and a sending calendar is agreed, with a rule for unsubscribes and quiet addresses.

  4. 4

    Write and set up

Emails are written, checked and scheduled in your email tool. Welcome and nurture emails are set to send on a trigger where that fits.

  5. 5

    Measure and adjust

We read clicks, replies, enquiries and complaints by segment, and change subject lines, timing and content to match.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is email worth it for a retail-heavy shop?
Only for fleets and company accounts. For walk-in customers, WhatsApp and the Business Profile do the same job better and faster.
Can we buy a list of transporters in our district?
Do not. Those lists are stale and complaints hurt your domain. Your own invoices hold better contacts, and those people already know your counter.
Should a statement of account go by email or WhatsApp?
Send the statement by email to the fleet's accounts desk, because they file it and may need it for an audit. Use WhatsApp for the short nudge to the owner. One carries the record, the other prompts the payment.
Will a rate list email land in the spam folder?
It is less likely if it comes from your own business address, is mostly text, and carries a small PDF instead of large images. Ask each new contact to add you to their contacts and reply once so mailboxes learn you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
