Auto parts and accessories dealers · WhatsApp marketing

Answer the part photo before the mechanic opens the next chat.

WhatsApp marketing for an auto parts dealer means using WhatsApp Business as your parts desk, catalogue and reminder channel, since garages and car owners already message dealers there. GullySales sets up the account, the replies and the lists, and checks the platform's current rules for broadcast messages.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For auto parts and accessories dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The mechanic sends a photo and waits for one reply”

A garage owner shares a picture of the old part to three dealers at once. The first to confirm stock and price gets the order. A busy counter with one phone and no saved replies hands the sale to a neighbour who answers sooner.

  • “A personal number mixes work with everything else”

When enquiries land on an owner's personal chat, they scatter among family messages and are lost when the phone changes hands. A Business account with labels keeps garages, retail buyers and fleets apart.

  • “A catalogue answers the routine questions”

Buyers ask for the same things again and again, such as a tyre size, a battery brand or a wiper length. A catalogue with names and photos lets staff share an answer instead of typing it each time.

  • “Broadcasts only work for people who agreed”

Sending offers to every number in a phone book earns blocks and complaints. Messages to garages and customers who asked to hear from you are received better and keep your account in good standing.

What we do

What we deliver for auto parts and accessories dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business account setup

A WhatsApp Business profile with hours, address, a greeting message, an away message and labels for garage, retail, fleet and pending quote.

Result: A new enquiry is acknowledged and sorted when it arrives.

  2. Saved replies for parts and tyres

Saved replies for stock confirmation, price, fitting slot, delivery and payment, written in the language your buyers use.

Result: Staff answer routine questions in a consistent manner.

  3. Product catalogue

Listings for popular tyre sizes, batteries, filters and accessories with photos, brand names and a note on fitting.

Result: A buyer can browse before calling the counter.

  4. Opt-in lists by buyer type

Separate lists for garages, retail customers and fleets, built from people who agreed to receive messages from you.

Result: Offers and reminders go only to people who want them.

  5. Click-to-chat entry points

Links and codes on the Maps profile, website, shop board and invoices that open a chat with your parts desk.

Result: Every place a buyer sees you leads to a chat.

  6. Reply ownership rule

A short rule naming who watches the chats at each hour of the counter day.

Result: No enquiry waits because everyone assumed someone else was answering.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Use WhatsApp for the parts photo, the stock reply and the bill.

Part photograph or part number
A saved reply asking the mechanic for the photograph, the part number or the registration. One clear request saves a long exchange of questions.
Stock and brand reply
States whether the part is in stock, the brands held and the price. The mechanic who gets one reply stays in your chat and does not open the next.
Tyre size and brand list
A catalogue of common sizes and brands with price on request. It answers the routine question before the counter has to.
Delivery and bill
A message with the bill, the delivery time and the person delivering. It gives the garage a record to match against the parts received.
Order reminder to a garage
Only to garages who agreed. Name the item they last ordered and ask if they need stock, without a discount line.

Who it is for

This is written for these auto parts and accessories dealers.

  • Multi-brand spare parts dealers serving garages
  • Authorised parts distributors for a vehicle manufacturer
  • Two-wheeler spare parts shops
  • Tyre dealers and tyre showrooms for major brands
  • Tyre, alignment and wheel care centres
  • Car accessories and fitment shops
  • Commercial vehicle parts and tyre suppliers
  • Battery, lubricant and filter dealers
  • Online-first auto parts sellers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You use a personal phone for family and work and cannot keep the shop's chats apart.
  • You plan to message every number you have collected, though some never agreed.
  • Nobody at the counter reads photographs during the rush, so the replies would be late.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we use the free app or the API?
A small counter can start with the Business app. A larger dealer with a big counter team and automated replies may need the API through an approved provider. We look at your volume before recommending either.
Can we send tyre offers to all our contacts?
Only to people who agreed to receive them, and inside the platform's current rules. We build the opt-in list first, then agree the offers and the number of messages.
What if a garage wants to order only by voice note?
Accept the voice note, then write the order back in text and ask for a confirmation. That keeps a record and prevents a wrong part from going out.
What if a garage wants to order only by voice note?
Take the order and confirm it back in writing, with the part, brand and quantity. A voice note leaves room for mishearing. The written confirmation is the record that settles a dispute about what was ordered.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
