Banquet halls and event venues · Content marketing

Answer the questions a family asks before they ever ring the hall.

Content marketing for a venue is writing down what families and admin teams keep asking: how many plates for three hundred guests, what the hall provides, what they must bring. GullySales writes those pages and checklists, uses them in the quote and on WhatsApp, and tracks which ones bring enquiries.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the free audit onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For banquet halls and event venues

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Most families are booking a hall for the first time

Nobody arranges four weddings. They do not know how many plates to count against three hundred invitations, or what a hall charges extra for. Write it down and you become the hall that helped.

  • A checklist gets forwarded, an advert does not

A one-page list of what the hall provides and what the family arranges travels around a family WhatsApp group on its own. That is distribution you did not buy.

  • The corporate reader wants a layout, not a story

An admin manager planning an annual day is after seating plans, AV, load-in timing and an invoice format. Give them a page they can attach to an approval mail.

What we do

What we deliver for banquet halls and event venues.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each question families ask

Counting plates against a guest list, what the hall covers, what the family arranges, hold and advance terms, and the timings local rules set for music.

Result: Half the phone call is answered before it happens.

  2. A one-page function checklist

A printable and forwardable list covering everything from the mandap to the parking marshals, marked as ours or yours against each line.

Result: Families share it in the group planning the function.

  3. A corporate event pack

Seating layouts, the AV list, catering options, load-in and load-out timings and a sample GST invoice, in one document an admin manager can attach.

Result: Your venue survives the internal approval mail.

  4. A season guide for the coming dates

A note on the coming season's popular dates and what is still open at the hall, written for families who have just been given a muhurtham.

Result: Early bookers come to you first.

  5. Reporting on what each page brings

Views, downloads and enquiries traced to each piece, reported monthly against the enquiry figures taken at the start.

Result: You keep writing the ones that work.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for banquet halls and event venues

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at last year's calendar by date type, how enquiries were recorded, how many became site visits and bookings, and how your listings answer the common questions.

  2. 2

    Answer the five questions upfront

Capacity, plate rates, catering rules, parking and rooms shown on every listing, the website and a one-page WhatsApp sheet.

  3. 3

    Run the site visit properly

A booking for each visit, a named person to host it, a printed menu and price sheet, and a follow-up call booked before the family leaves.

  4. 4

    Fill the calendar gaps

Campaigns for weekdays, off-season months and non-wedding functions, and outreach to companies, event managers and planners.

  5. 5

    Protect the date

A clear hold and advance policy, a waitlist for popular dates, and a record of every enquiry per date so no second family is lost.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What do we write about when our hall is one building?
The functions held in it, rather than the building. A page on planning a naming ceremony, one on seating four hundred for a reception, one on what a company annual day needs. Each answers a real search and each ends at your enquiry form.
Who writes it when nobody here has the time?
We do, from what your manager already answers on the phone every day. The free audit call usually surfaces the ten questions that come up most. Those become the first ten pieces.
Should we put our plate rate on the listing?
A starting per-plate rate and the hall rent for a typical function help families shortlist you. It cuts the calls that were only asking the price, and the families who visit are the ones whose budget fits.
How do we fill weekdays and the off-season?
By selling what fits those days. Corporate trainings, birthdays and small receptions can take a Tuesday as easily as a Sunday. A separate weekday rate and package makes that an easy yes.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
