Banquet halls and event venues · Reputation management

A guest who could not park writes the review your next family reads.

Reputation management for a venue means watching what gets written after a function, when four hundred guests each hold an opinion about the food, the air conditioning and the parking. GullySales collects reviews from the host rather than the crowd, answers complaints the same day, and reports what keeps coming back.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For banquet halls and event venues

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The review comes from a guest, not your customer

The family who booked you was happy. A guest who circled for twenty minutes looking for parking writes the one star, and Google shows it to the next family.

  • Complaints arrive on the night, not the next week

Food running short at nine o'clock is fixable at nine o'clock. A manager told about it during the function saves a review that would otherwise sit on the listing for years.

  • Photographs guests upload become your listing

Anybody at the function can add a picture to your profile, including a blurry one of the chair store. Your own photographs have to be better and more recent than theirs.

What we do

What we deliver for banquet halls and event venues.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Alerts on the hall name and the road it stands on

Watches across Google, JustDial and the wedding platforms, including the short names and spellings families use for your hall.

Result: You read a complaint before a booking enquiry quotes it.

  2. A duty manager check during the function

A short walk-round at the points where complaints start, meaning parking, the dining queue, the air conditioning and the toilets, with a note of what was put right.

Result: Problems get handled on the night instead of on Google.

  3. Reply drafts for the complaints that repeat

Answers ready for parking, food quantity, the music cut-off time and advance refund questions, written once and approved by the owner.

Result: A bad review gets a same-day reply that does not make it worse.

  4. A review request sent to the host

One message to the person who booked the hall, timed to the week after the function, carrying a direct link and no incentive attached.

Result: Reviews come from someone who actually dealt with you.

  5. Fresh photographs across every listing

Current pictures of the dining hall laid out, the stage, the rooms and the parking, uploaded each season so guest snapshots are not your best images.

Result: The listing looks like the hall people will visit.

  6. A monthly note on what was said

What was posted and where, the reply that went out, and any gripe that appeared more than once this season, measured against your rating when work began.

Result: Recurring complaints get fixed at the hall, not answered online.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for banquet halls and event venues

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at last year's calendar by date type, how enquiries were recorded, how many became site visits and bookings, and how your listings answer the common questions.

  2. 2

    Answer the five questions upfront

Capacity, plate rates, catering rules, parking and rooms shown on every listing, the website and a one-page WhatsApp sheet.

  3. 3

    Run the site visit properly

A booking for each visit, a named person to host it, a printed menu and price sheet, and a follow-up call booked before the family leaves.

  4. 4

    Fill the calendar gaps

Campaigns for weekdays, off-season months and non-wedding functions, and outreach to companies, event managers and planners.

  5. 5

    Protect the date

A clear hold and advance policy, a waitlist for popular dates, and a record of every enquiry per date so no second family is lost.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Someone has posted that we double-booked their date. What now?
Reply in public within a day, briefly, without arguing the details, and offer a call. Then check the enquiry register and find out what really happened. A hall that answers calmly reads better to the next family than an angry review with silence under it.
When should we ask the family for a review?
After the photographs reach them, not while they are settling the bill. The function is a blur on the day and a good memory a week later. Ask the host who dealt with your manager, since they can describe what the hall did rather than how the sweets tasted.
Should we put our plate rate on the listing?
A starting per-plate rate and the hall rent for a typical function help families shortlist you. It cuts the calls that were only asking the price, and the families who visit are the ones whose budget fits.
How do we fill weekdays and the off-season?
By selling what fits those days. Corporate trainings, birthdays and small receptions can take a Tuesday as easily as a Sunday. A separate weekday rate and package makes that an easy yes.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
