Banquet halls and event venues · Digital marketing

One plan for the wedding calendar and the empty months in between.

Digital marketing for a venue is deciding where the money goes month by month, because a wedding season and a run of weeks with no muhurtham want different channels. GullySales builds that calendar, runs search, listings and planner outreach against it, and reports enquiries by source every month.

A steam traction engine belted across a stackyard to a wooden threshing machine: the long flat belt taut between the flywheel and the drive pulley, the flywheel spinning, a straw elevator raking up off the far end, a full sack hanging on the sack spout, a corn stack half taken down behind and a water cart standing by

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For banquet halls and event venues

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The calendar spends the money, not the month

Families look for halls once the priest gives them dates, and that is when advertising for those dates earns anything. An equal spend every month buries budget in weeks when nobody is searching.

  • Two buyers who never meet

The father of a bride and a company admin manager search differently, ask different questions and read different pages. One venue, two sets of listings, two sets of adverts.

  • Planners bring more dates than any advert

A wedding planner who trusts your availability line will bring bookings all season. That relationship costs less to build than the advert which reaches one family once.

What we do

What we deliver for banquet halls and event venues.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A twelve-month plan of what runs when

Wedding date campaigns timed to when families fix dates, corporate outreach in the quiet weeks, and weekday packages pushed through the months with few functions.

Result: Money goes in when someone is actually searching.

  2. One set of pages and listings per buyer

A wedding and family function side, and a corporate side with layouts, AV and GST invoicing, carried through the website and every listing.

Result: Neither buyer has to read past the other one.

  3. Enquiry tracking by source and date type

Every enquiry tagged with where it came from and which kind of function it was for, so a platform, an advert and a planner can be compared honestly.

Result: You learn which channel sells weekdays.

  4. A planner and caterer outreach programme

A venue kit with floor plans and photographs, written referral terms, and one number that answers a planner on availability the same day.

Result: Planners bring dates you never advertised for.

  5. A monthly report on occupied days

Enquiries, visits, advances and days sold by weekday, weekend and muhurta date, compared with the calendar you had before work began.

Result: The empty half of the year is measured, not guessed.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

How the work runs for banquet halls and event venues

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at last year's calendar by date type, how enquiries were recorded, how many became site visits and bookings, and how your listings answer the common questions.

  2. 2

    Answer the five questions upfront

Capacity, plate rates, catering rules, parking and rooms shown on every listing, the website and a one-page WhatsApp sheet.

  3. 3

    Run the site visit properly

A booking for each visit, a named person to host it, a printed menu and price sheet, and a follow-up call booked before the family leaves.

  4. 4

    Fill the calendar gaps

Campaigns for weekdays, off-season months and non-wedding functions, and outreach to companies, event managers and planners.

  5. 5

    Protect the date

A clear hold and advance policy, a waitlist for popular dates, and a record of every enquiry per date so no second family is lost.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How much should a hall spend on marketing?
It depends on how many empty dates you are trying to sell and what one booked date is worth. The free audit counts last year's occupied days by date type first, so the figure has something behind it. The fee is then put in writing, split between our time, your media spend and production.
Do we need a website when we are on the wedding platforms?
Yes, for the bookings those platforms do not carry. Corporate events, training halls and weekday family functions rarely begin on a wedding directory. Your site is also where the plate rates, layouts and hold terms sit in your own words.
Should we put our plate rate on the listing?
A starting per-plate rate and the hall rent for a typical function help families shortlist you. It cuts the calls that were only asking the price, and the families who visit are the ones whose budget fits.
How do we fill weekdays and the off-season?
By selling what fits those days. Corporate trainings, birthdays and small receptions can take a Tuesday as easily as a Sunday. A separate weekday rate and package makes that an easy yes.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
