Banquet halls and event venues · Social media

Show the hall dressed for a function, not standing empty on a Tuesday.

Social media for a venue means the decorators, planners and families who scroll before they shortlist can see what a function actually looks like in your hall. GullySales plans the posts around real bookings, settles the consent with the host, and turns comments and messages into date enquiries.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For banquet halls and event venues

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Planners scout venues on Instagram before they ring

A wedding planner hunting a new hall for a client scrolls venue tags and decorator posts. Being tagged by the decorator who worked your hall reaches them without you spending anything.

  • Consent is asked before the function, not after

A wedding is a private family occasion and some families want nothing posted. Settle it in the booking terms and you never have to take a reel down.

  • The comment asking your rate is a lead

Somebody asking the price under a reel has a date in mind. Move it to WhatsApp, send the rate sheet, and log it against that date like any other enquiry.

What we do

What we deliver for banquet halls and event venues.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A posting plan tied to the booking calendar

Content pulled from functions already held, scheduled through the weeks when families fix dates and companies plan their annual days.

Result: The feed is busy when buyers are looking.

  2. Consent settled in the booking terms

A line in the booking form covering photographs and video, with a simple way for the host to say which events may be shared.

Result: Nothing goes up that the family did not agree to.

  3. Decorator and photographer tagging

A routine of crediting and being credited by the decorators, caterers and studios who worked each function, agreed with them in advance.

Result: Your hall appears in feeds you do not own.

  4. Reels showing the hall in use

Short films of a dressed stage, a dining hall in service and a corporate setup, cut from footage the studios at your functions already hold.

Result: A family sees the hall the way it will look for them.

  5. Comments and messages handled as enquiries

Rate questions moved to WhatsApp within the hour, logged against the date asked for, and followed up like any other enquiry.

Result: Social traffic reaches the enquiry register.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for banquet halls and event venues

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at last year's calendar by date type, how enquiries were recorded, how many became site visits and bookings, and how your listings answer the common questions.

  2. 2

    Answer the five questions upfront

Capacity, plate rates, catering rules, parking and rooms shown on every listing, the website and a one-page WhatsApp sheet.

  3. 3

    Run the site visit properly

A booking for each visit, a named person to host it, a printed menu and price sheet, and a follow-up call booked before the family leaves.

  4. 4

    Fill the calendar gaps

Campaigns for weekdays, off-season months and non-wedding functions, and outreach to companies, event managers and planners.

  5. 5

    Protect the date

A clear hold and advance policy, a waitlist for popular dates, and a record of every enquiry per date so no second family is lost.

Proof

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which platform matters for a hall?
Instagram for weddings and family functions, because that is where decor gets compared. LinkedIn does nothing for a mandapam but reaches the admin and HR people who book annual days. Pick the one that sells the dates you have sitting empty.
Should we post during the off-season?
Yes, and that is when the better posts get made. Use footage from the season just finished, and show the weekday packages and corporate layouts you want booked. Families fixing next season's dates are watching before they call.
Should we put our plate rate on the listing?
A starting per-plate rate and the hall rent for a typical function help families shortlist you. It cuts the calls that were only asking the price, and the families who visit are the ones whose budget fits.
How do we fill weekdays and the off-season?
By selling what fits those days. Corporate trainings, birthdays and small receptions can take a Tuesday as easily as a Sunday. A separate weekday rate and package makes that an easy yes.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
