Building material dealers · Branding

Be known as the yard that sends the lorry when it said it would.

Branding for a building material dealer is not a logo on a signboard. It is the name a contractor gives when an owner asks where to buy, built on stock, correct loads and delivery kept to. GullySales puts that reputation into your board, your lorries, your bill book and your messages, so it looks like one yard everywhere.

A sign-painter's bench: a shop sign on a low easel lettered as far as its last character, which is still only pencilled in, a mahl stick laid across the work, open tins of paint on the floor and a finished sign hanging from its iron bracket above

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For building material dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • You sell other people's brands

Cement and paint arrive with their own marketing. Your name has to stand for the delivery and the credit, since the bag is the same everywhere.

  • The lorry is your hoarding

It parks at a site for an hour with the whole street watching. A clean board with a number does more than a hoarding on the main road.

  • A printed bill is a claim about the business

A proper GST invoice with the grade and the load written on it tells a builder you can be an account, not a cash sale.

What we do

What we deliver for building material dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A name, board and colour used the same way everywhere

The shopfront, the lorry doors, the price boards and the WhatsApp display picture carrying one version of the name and one number.

Result: People recognise the yard before they read the board.

  2. The brands you stock shown properly

Manufacturer signage and shade cards arranged so a buyer can see at a glance which cement, steel and paint you carry, at the counter and on the site.

Result: A buyer looking for a particular brand knows you hold it.

  3. Invoice, delivery note and rate list in one format

A single layout for the bill, the delivery challan and the rate message, showing grade, quantity, load and the credit terms agreed.

Result: The paperwork reads like a business a builder can open an account with.

  4. A short profile for builders and engineers

One page listing brands stocked, storage, lorries, delivery areas and credit policy, for the engineer or builder deciding on a supplier.

Result: You can answer a builder's question without a meeting.

  5. Counter and trade material for painters and masons

Shade cards, visiting cards with the counter number and a simple leaflet of what is in stock, given to the trades who bring owners in.

Result: The trades carry your number to the next site.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for building material dealers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how orders arrive, how rates are shared, how credit is tracked, and how many sites you supply at only one stage.

  2. 2

    Fix orders and credit

One record for orders, sites and outstanding amounts, with WhatsApp rate messages and payment reminders set up.

  3. 3

    Track every site

A stage tracker for active sites, so the team calls before the next material is needed.

  4. 4

    Reach the deciders

A programme for painters, masons and contractors, and Maps and search visibility for owners buying directly.

  5. 5

    Grow each account

More categories sold per site, and each contractor account reviewed for its share of orders and its payment record.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

  • France Fox

    Situation
Eco claims are common enough in menswear that buyers discount them on sight. France Fox had a real production story and nowhere to set it out, which is the wrong way round.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is a rebrand worth it for a yard our size?
The board, the lorries and the bill book are worth doing properly. A full rebrand can wait until you have two yards or a builder account worth protecting.
Should our name say what we sell?
It helps if it names the main line, since people search by material. Where the family name is already known locally, keep it and add the material to the board.
Can marketing work when customers only care about the rate?
Rate matters, but delivery time, stock and credit decide many orders. A daily rate message sent before buyers ask, and a call before each site stage, wins orders that a lower rate from a stranger does not.
How do we stop credit from getting out of hand?
Agree the credit period at the time of order and record it against the site and contractor. We set up reminders that go out before the due date, so collection starts as a routine message rather than an awkward call.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
