Dry cleaners and laundries · Email marketing

Email belongs to the PG, the salon and the homestay, not the household.

Email for a laundry works on the business side, where a PG owner or a salon manager needs a rate sheet and a renewal in writing. GullySales builds that list from the accounts on your own route and writes the proposals and renewal notes that get answered.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For dry cleaners and laundries

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Households will never open your mail

A resident booking a pickup wants WhatsApp. Sending them email is effort spent on a channel they do not read.

  • A linen arrangement has to exist on paper

A hostel warden or a hotel manager needs the rate, the collection days, the counting process and the billing terms in a document they can forward to an owner.

  • Renewals happen on a date

A PG's present arrangement ends with the academic year or the financial one. The shop that wrote a month before gets asked to quote.

  • The trial has to be proposed in writing

A manager will agree to one week of linen if the counting, the turnaround and the rate are stated. Said on a doorstep, it is forgotten by evening.

What we do

What we deliver for dry cleaners and laundries.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list of business accounts on your route

PGs, hostels, salons, gyms, clinics, homestays and small hotels inside your pickup radius, with the person who actually decides named.

Result: You are writing to people who can sign.

  2. A linen proposal a manager can forward

Per kilo and per piece rates, collection and return days, the counting process, damage terms and billing, in one document with your GST details.

Result: The proposal reaches the owner without being retyped.

  3. A trial week offered in writing

One week of linen collected, counted and returned on a fixed day, with what happens at the end of the trial stated plainly.

Result: The conversation moves from rates to a date.

  4. Notes timed to their calendar

A short mail before hostel intakes, before the season starts for homestays, and before an existing arrangement runs out.

Result: You are asked to quote instead of hearing about it later.

  5. Monthly statements that hold the account

A clear statement of pieces or kilos, the days collected and anything under dispute, sent on the same date each month.

Result: Billing stops being the reason an account leaves.

  6. Replies, trials and accounts counted

Mails sent, replies, trials agreed and accounts won, with the linen volume they brought, read against the position before the outreach began.

Result: You can see what the business side is worth.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for dry cleaners and laundries

  1. 1

    Assess

We check where you appear on Maps for laundry searches in your area and how fast WhatsApp pickup requests get answered. We also read your reviews and count how many one-time customers came back.

  2. 2

    Fix the pickup reply

A WhatsApp catalogue, quick replies and a named person for rush hours, so every pickup request gets a slot and a price quickly.

  3. 3

    Set up the customer record

Every order and garment type recorded against the household or business, so repeat pickups can be tracked and prompted.

  4. 4

    Bring customers in

Local search, apartment group introductions, seasonal campaigns and a direct approach to PGs, salons and homestays nearby.

  5. 5

Turn one drop into a routine

A weekly pickup offer after the first good order, reminders to quiet households and a review ask on every delivery.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we buy a list of PGs and hostels?
No, and you do not need one. Your rider passes them every day. Walk in, take the manager's name and number, and write to a person rather than to an address you paid for.
How often should we write to an account we have not won yet?
Every few weeks with something new: a trial offer, a rate for their kind of linen, a note before their season. Four or five useful mails a year works. The same rate sheet monthly gets filtered.
Can a local laundry compete with the laundry apps?
Yes, on reply speed, careful handling and a person the customer can call. Most app users are simply the ones nobody local reached first, so the work is to show up in the same search and answer just as fast.
Should we build our own pickup app?
Usually not. WhatsApp Business with a catalogue and a clear pickup routine does the job for a single shop or a few outlets, and customers already use it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
