Dry cleaners and laundries · Reputation management

One lost shirt sits at the top of your reviews until somebody answers it.

Reputation for a dry cleaner is the review about a missing shirt, a colour that ran or a delivery that never came, sitting where the next household reads it. GullySales builds the review request into delivery, writes the replies, and sets the tag and count routine that prevents most complaints.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For dry cleaners and laundries

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • You are holding things people cannot replace

A wedding saree or a father's coat is not a transaction. A complaint about one carries a weight that no discount answers.

  • The worst review never reaches Google

A resident posting in a tower chat that clothes came back smelling damp reaches two hundred neighbours, and there is no reply box under it.

  • Counting at pickup settles the argument later

Most lost-garment disputes are a count nobody wrote down. A confirmed count on WhatsApp at collection is the entire defence.

  • The good reviews come from the hard jobs

A wine stain out of a white kurta, a lehenga stored properly through a monsoon. Those customers would write something, and nobody asks them.

What we do

What we deliver for dry cleaners and laundries.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A count confirmed in writing at both ends

Pieces counted at pickup and confirmed on WhatsApp, with stains, tears and loose buttons noted before any cleaning starts.

Result: A dispute has a record instead of two memories.

  2. Review requests sent with the delivery

A short message as the bag goes back, sent to the households whose garment came out well, with the link ready to tap.

Result: Recent reviews sit above the old complaint.

  3. Replies written before the complaint arrives

Wording for a missing piece, colour bleed, shrinkage, a delayed return and a damp smell in the monsoon, ready to post the same day.

Result: The one-star review stops standing there unanswered.

  4. Damage and loss handled to a set process

What is offered, who decides it and how quickly, written down so the counter does not argue and the customer is not left waiting.

Result: A complaint ends at the shop rather than online.

  5. Society group mentions watched and answered

A way to hear when the shop's name comes up in a tower group, and a reply a resident or the association can pass on.

Result: A rumour in a building is corrected before half the tower reads it.

  6. Ratings and causes read every month

New reviews, the rating, and whether the causes were counting, timing or the process itself, compared with where the listing stood at the audit.

Result: The fault that keeps repeating gets fixed at the machine.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for dry cleaners and laundries

  1. 1

    Assess

We check where you appear on Maps for laundry searches in your area and how fast WhatsApp pickup requests get answered. We also read your reviews and count how many one-time customers came back.

  2. 2

    Fix the pickup reply

A WhatsApp catalogue, quick replies and a named person for rush hours, so every pickup request gets a slot and a price quickly.

  3. 3

    Set up the customer record

Every order and garment type recorded against the household or business, so repeat pickups can be tracked and prompted.

  4. 4

    Bring customers in

Local search, apartment group introductions, seasonal campaigns and a direct approach to PGs, salons and homestays nearby.

  5. 5

Turn one drop into a routine

A weekly pickup offer after the first good order, reminders to quiet households and a review ask on every delivery.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

A customer says we lost a shirt we never received. What do we do?
Show the pickup count that was confirmed on WhatsApp and offer to check the racks with them. Without that record it is their word against yours, which is exactly why the count goes in writing at collection.
How do we answer a review about colour bleeding?
Reply with what was received, what the care label said and what you tested before washing, then offer to inspect the garment. The next reader cares less about the outcome than about whether you sound like people who know fabric.
Can a local laundry compete with the laundry apps?
Yes, on reply speed, careful handling and a person the customer can call. Most app users are simply the ones nobody local reached first, so the work is to show up in the same search and answer just as fast.
Should we build our own pickup app?
Usually not. WhatsApp Business with a catalogue and a clear pickup routine does the job for a single shop or a few outlets, and customers already use it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
