Dry cleaners and laundries · Search engine optimisation

Be the shop a household finds on a Sunday with a pile of clothes.

SEO for a dry cleaner decides who appears when a household searches dry cleaning near me, saree dry wash charges or blanket cleaning on a Sunday morning. GullySales builds pages for the garments you handle and the localities you pick up from, and fixes what keeps them out of results.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For dry cleaners and laundries

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The search names a garment, not a service

Nobody types dry cleaning services. They type saree dry wash, lehenga cleaning charges, blanket wash near me, and each of those deserves a page of its own.

  • Rate searches are the buying searches here

A household comparing two shops wants the price of one shirt before they message anybody. A published rate card wins the enquiry that a coy page loses.

  • Your pickup radius is a set of page names

You serve six or seven localities and a handful of towers. Those names belong on pages, because that is what a resident types after near me.

  • Apps rank for words a shop should own

Aggregators outspend you everywhere, yet none of them can write about a Kanjeevaram with heavy zari the way a counter that handles them weekly can.

What we do

What we deliver for dry cleaners and laundries.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each garment you are trusted with

Silk sarees, bridal lehengas, suits, blankets and quilts, curtains and sofa covers, each with the process, the turnaround and what you check before accepting the piece.

Result: A family with an expensive garment finds the page written about it.

  2. A published rate card page

Per piece and per kilo rates with what is included, the pickup charge and the minimum order, kept current instead of promised on the phone.

Result: Households message you already knowing the price.

  3. Locality pages for the streets your rider covers

A page for each apartment cluster and main road on the pickup route, naming the towers and the days you collect there.

Result: A resident searching their own area sees a shop that comes to them.

  4. Technical fixes for a phone-first site

Load speed, a tap-to-WhatsApp button, readable rates and a working form, all checked on a mid-range phone, which is what every customer is holding.

Result: The page opens before the household loses patience.

  5. Positions and enquiries reported every month

Where each garment and locality page stands, and the calls and messages traced to it, read against the position noted before the work began.

Result: You see which page is bringing the bags in.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for dry cleaners and laundries

  1. 1

    Assess

We check where you appear on Maps for laundry searches in your area and how fast WhatsApp pickup requests get answered. We also read your reviews and count how many one-time customers came back.

  2. 2

    Fix the pickup reply

A WhatsApp catalogue, quick replies and a named person for rush hours, so every pickup request gets a slot and a price quickly.

  3. 3

    Set up the customer record

Every order and garment type recorded against the household or business, so repeat pickups can be tracked and prompted.

  4. 4

    Bring customers in

Local search, apartment group introductions, seasonal campaigns and a direct approach to PGs, salons and homestays nearby.

  5. 5

Turn one drop into a routine

A weekly pickup offer after the first good order, reminders to quiet households and a review ask on every delivery.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we publish our rates online?
Yes, at least a range. A household comparing two shops on a Sunday picks the one that has already answered the price question. Keep a line saying heavy embroidery and old stains are quoted after inspection.
How long does search work take for one shop?
A few months for the garment pages to settle. The Maps listing moves sooner, so we do that first and let the pages build behind it.
Can a local laundry compete with the laundry apps?
Yes, on reply speed, careful handling and a person the customer can call. Most app users are simply the ones nobody local reached first, so the work is to show up in the same search and answer just as fast.
Should we build our own pickup app?
Usually not. WhatsApp Business with a catalogue and a clear pickup routine does the job for a single shop or a few outlets, and customers already use it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
