Dry cleaners and laundries · Digital marketing

Cover the towers on your route before you think about the city.

Digital marketing for a laundry is deciding which of Maps, WhatsApp, society groups and paid adverts deserve your time, given that every customer lives within a few kilometres. GullySales sets the job and the budget for each channel and reports what each one brought in.

A steam traction engine belted across a stackyard to a wooden threshing machine: the long flat belt taut between the flywheel and the drive pulley, the flywheel spinning, a straw elevator raking up off the far end, a full sack hanging on the sack spout, a corn stack half taken down behind and a water cart standing by

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For dry cleaners and laundries

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Your whole market is a few square kilometres

Reach means nothing here. The question is whether the eleven towers on your rider's route know your name and your pickup day.

  • The society group beats every advert

One resident's recommendation in a tower chat brings more bags than a month of posting, and it cannot be bought, only earned and then asked for.

  • Households and business accounts need separate plans

A PG contract comes from a walk-in with a rate sheet. A weekly household comes from Maps and a fast reply. One plan cannot do both jobs.

  • The year is four pushes, not twelve months

Blankets before the cold, curtains before Diwali, wedding wear after the muhurtham dates, wash-and-fold through the monsoon.

What we do

What we deliver for dry cleaners and laundries.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan with one job each

What Maps, WhatsApp, Instagram, society groups and paid adverts are each meant to bring, and which are not worth a single outlet's time.

Result: You stop posting daily for no reason.

  2. A calendar built around the four busy periods

Blanket and quilt weeks, the curtain and sofa cover drive before Diwali, the post-wedding bridal wear period and the monsoon wash-and-fold offer.

Result: Machines stay busy in months that used to be quiet.

  3. An approach to the towers on your route

An introduction, a rate card and a pickup link prepared for each apartment association and community group your rider already passes.

Result: Residents hear about you inside the chat they read anyway.

  4. A business account push running beside it

The PGs, salons, gyms, clinics and homestays on the route listed, with a rate sheet and a visit plan for the owner or the supervisor.

Result: Weekly linen volume arrives that does not depend on search.

  5. The site and the listings kept in step

Rates, pickup areas, hours and services matching across the website, the Business Profile and JustDial, so nothing contradicts anything else.

Result: A customer checking two places sees one answer.

  6. One monthly reading of every channel

Enquiries, pickups and new business accounts by source, with reply time and repeat orders beside them, weighed against the audit figures.

Result: Effort moves to whatever is filling the van.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for dry cleaners and laundries

  1. 1

    Assess

We check where you appear on Maps for laundry searches in your area and how fast WhatsApp pickup requests get answered. We also read your reviews and count how many one-time customers came back.

  2. 2

    Fix the pickup reply

A WhatsApp catalogue, quick replies and a named person for rush hours, so every pickup request gets a slot and a price quickly.

  3. 3

    Set up the customer record

Every order and garment type recorded against the household or business, so repeat pickups can be tracked and prompted.

  4. 4

    Bring customers in

Local search, apartment group introductions, seasonal campaigns and a direct approach to PGs, salons and homestays nearby.

  5. 5

Turn one drop into a routine

A weekly pickup offer after the first good order, reminders to quiet households and a review ask on every delivery.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a website at all?
A small one, holding the rate card, the pickup areas and a WhatsApp link. It is the page you send when a society group asks for details. It does not need booking software.
Should we join a laundry aggregator app?
Treat it as spare capacity rather than a channel. The app owns the customer and takes a share of every order, so the household never becomes yours. Put the real effort into people who message you directly.
Can a local laundry compete with the laundry apps?
Yes, on reply speed, careful handling and a person the customer can call. Most app users are simply the ones nobody local reached first, so the work is to show up in the same search and answer just as fast.
Should we build our own pickup app?
Usually not. WhatsApp Business with a catalogue and a clear pickup routine does the job for a single shop or a few outlets, and customers already use it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
