Dry cleaners and laundries · Social media

Post the stain that came out, and be the name typed in the tower chat.

Social media for a laundry is two places: the apartment group where residents ask for a recommendation, and Instagram, where careful work on a saree can be shown. GullySales prepares what gets posted, who replies, and how a message in a tower group turns into a pickup.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For dry cleaners and laundries

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Before and after is the only post that works

A wine stain gone from a white shirt, a yellowed silk brought back. Nobody scrolls past that, and nobody believes a text post about quality.

  • The recommendation happens in the society group

A resident asking which laundry to use gets four replies in ten minutes. Being the name typed there is worth more than a month of reels.

  • Reels are for the garments people are scared to send

Lehengas, sherwanis, leather bags and shoes. Show the process and the household stops worrying about handing it over.

  • Daily posting does nothing for a shop with one van

Your audience is a few thousand people on a route you already serve. Two useful posts a week and fast replies beat a schedule.

What we do

What we deliver for dry cleaners and laundries.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Before and after posts shot at the counter

Stains, yellowed silks and restored whites photographed under the same light, with the fabric and the process named and the customer's consent taken.

Result: Households see the work instead of a claim about it.

  2. Care advice written for the garments you handle

Short posts on storing a lehenga, drying in the monsoon, what ruins a zari border, and when a home wash finishes off a fabric.

Result: People follow a shop that knows their wardrobe.

  3. A routine for society and community groups

What to share, how often, and what a resident or your rider can post when somebody in the group asks for a laundry.

Result: The recommendation lands where residents already ask.

  4. Reply rules for the rate question

A first reply giving the per kilo and per piece range, asking what the garment is, and moving to WhatsApp with a collection slot.

Result: A comment becomes a collection.

  5. Seasonal posts for the busy weeks

Blankets before the cold, curtains before Diwali, wedding wear after the season, wash-and-fold through the monsoon.

Result: The shop is visible when the pile gets big.

  6. Messages and pickups traced each month

Enquiries and collections that began in a post, a group or a direct message, read against what these accounts were bringing before.

Result: You know whether posting is worth the hour it takes.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for dry cleaners and laundries

  1. 1

    Assess

We check where you appear on Maps for laundry searches in your area and how fast WhatsApp pickup requests get answered. We also read your reviews and count how many one-time customers came back.

  2. 2

    Fix the pickup reply

A WhatsApp catalogue, quick replies and a named person for rush hours, so every pickup request gets a slot and a price quickly.

  3. 3

    Set up the customer record

Every order and garment type recorded against the household or business, so repeat pickups can be tracked and prompted.

  4. 4

    Bring customers in

Local search, apartment group introductions, seasonal campaigns and a direct approach to PGs, salons and homestays nearby.

  5. 5

Turn one drop into a routine

A weekly pickup offer after the first good order, reminders to quiet households and a review ask on every delivery.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we post a customer's garment?
Only with permission, and without anything that identifies them. Ask at delivery when they are pleased with the result. A bridal lehenga is personal, so keep the permission in writing even if it is a WhatsApp reply.
How do we get into apartment groups without being thrown out?
Go through the association or a resident who already uses you, and ask before posting anything. A rate card shared by a neighbour is welcome. An unsolicited broadcast gets you removed and remembered.
Can a local laundry compete with the laundry apps?
Yes, on reply speed, careful handling and a person the customer can call. Most app users are simply the ones nobody local reached first, so the work is to show up in the same search and answer just as fast.
Should we build our own pickup app?
Usually not. WhatsApp Business with a catalogue and a clear pickup routine does the job for a single shop or a few outlets, and customers already use it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
