E-commerce · Home Décor

A mirror is only worth ordering if it arrives whole and hangs straight.

A mirror is bought for a particular spot: the end of a corridor, behind a dressing table, above a basin. The buyer is thinking about the shape, the frame and the size of the glass, and about whether it will survive a courier. Glass breaks. Most of the sales lost in this product are lost on that thought.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

In one paragraph

Mirror e-commerce is the online sale of wall, floor-standing, dressing, bathroom and decorative mirrors in glass with frames of wood, metal or cane. GullySales works on how your listings give exact size, glass quality and hanging method, how breakage is kept down and claimed for, and how buyers searching by room and shape find the right one.

It is also a product that photographs well and tells you nothing about itself. A round mirror with a thin gold ring looks the same in every photograph, so the buyer scrolls for something concrete.

Who it is for

This is written for you if you sell mirrors online.

  • Mirror and glass makers selling decorative and dressing mirrors
  • Home décor brands with a mirror range beside frames and wall art
  • Bathroom and vanity sellers with LED and backlit mirrors
  • Craft sellers using cane, brass and carved wooden frames

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A seller who cannot pack glass to survive a courier journey and would rather argue the claim afterwards
  • A brand that sells poor-quality glass and hopes the frame will hide it

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of mirrors.

  1. Glass size and outer size

The frame adds width, and the reflective area is smaller than the listed size. Buyers who plan a full-length mirror want the glass height, not the outer dimension.

  2. Shape and frame

Round, arch, oval, full-length, with a wooden, metal, cane or no frame. The shape decides the order before anything else.

  3. Hanging and standing

Hooks, a rail, brackets, or a stand at the back. Renters and people with hollow walls look for how heavy it is and whether it can lean against the wall.

  4. Glass quality and safety backing

Thickness, edge finish and any safety film on the back. A buyer with children or a bathroom wall reads this closely.

Where sales are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell mirrors online.

In the words sellers use on the first call.

  • “It arrived cracked and the buyer sent a photograph”

Each claim is a refund, a resend and a bad mark with the courier. The fix sits in the packing and the corner protection, not in the ad.

  • “It was smaller than the buyer expected”

The listing gave the outer size but the buyer was thinking of the glass. A full-length mirror that arrives a few inches short is returned.

  • “The mirror looks tilted or wavy in the buyer's photo”

Cheap glass and thin backing warp, and reviewers post the photograph. One of those pictures weighs more than ten five-star ratings.

The scope

The work we would propose for mirrors.

Measured on purchases, conversion rate, cost to win a customer, average order value and repeat purchases. Anything here that needs a platform or tool we have not used with you is confirmed in the audit before it goes in the scope.

What we do

What you get for mirrors.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A size-and-glass table for every mirror

Outer dimension, glass dimension, thickness and weight, so the buyer measures the right thing.

  2. A hanging guide with wall types

What to use on brick, hollow board and tiles, with a tape-and-level diagram.

  3. A broken-in-transit procedure

What the buyer photographs, where they send it and what happens next, linked from the order email.

  4. A shape and frame guide

A short page that matches arch, round, oval and rectangular mirrors to rooms, written for your range.

How the result is measured

  • Purchases
  • Conversion rate
  • Customer acquisition cost
  • Average order value
  • Return rate
  • Breakage claims per order shipped

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before the audit call.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Your mirror range with outer and glass dimensions
  • Breakage claims, with shape, courier and packaging used
  • Photographs of the pieces on real walls
  • Reviews that mention warping, size or fixing
  • Your marketplace listings for the same products

Selling in India and abroad

Selling mirrors beyond your own market.

Where you sell decides sizes, units, seasons and returns. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new country we start from your own sales and the platforms you already use.

  1. Breakage on a long route

A mirror crossing a border is handled more times than one going to Pune. Packaging has to be tested on a long route, and claims are slower to settle.

  2. Sizes, voltage and plugs for lit mirrors

An LED vanity mirror sold abroad has a different plug and supply. Whether it can be shipped to a given country is checked with your adviser.

FAQ

Questions about selling mirrors online.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do I reduce mirror breakage in delivery?
Pack for the corners. Most breakage starts at an edge. Review the claims you have received by shape and courier first, then change the box and filler for the ones that break. We list the changes; your packing team tests them.
Should I list glass size separately from the frame size?
Yes. Buyers hold the glass size against the space they want to reflect. A listing with only the outer size causes returns. One with both sizes tells the buyer someone here knows glass.
Do LED bathroom mirrors need a different page?
They need their own listing detail: power, switch type, light colour options and installation. Buyers ask who fits it. We treat them as a separate set of pages from plain decorative mirrors.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.
